Today is an interesting day. It’s April Fools’ Day! That means, unless you’re Nintendo, most announcements are going to be presumed fake.

Enter The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. A blog entry hit the game’s official site in the early morning hours, which seemed to announce it for both Wii U and 3DS. The thing is… most people (including myself) thought it to be fake given how the blog was written, and the fact that it’s April Fools’ Day.

But just a short while ago, there was this Twitter exchange between Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez and Dan Adelman, formerly from Nintendo:

I suppose we can assume this is real for now. What a weird day. Really. In any case, if you’re interested in finding about how The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth made it to Nintendo’s platforms, we’ve posted the blog entry in full below.

Court Records has translated a bunch of details about The Great Ace Attorney from this week’s issue of Famitsu. You can find them rounded up below.

– Baroque/Barock: legendary English prosecutor said to never let a defendant escape
– He’s returning to court after 5 years
– Known as “The Death God of the Old Bailey”
– Took about a year to come up with the name of the prosecutor
– It was originally “Prosecutor Rival”
– There is a proper name origin for the name, but Takumi finds it embarrassing to talk about; he has a different font for “objection” to convey the “English”-ness of him
– Jury Battle: Each of the jury members have their own ideas about the case and you can get the not guilty verdict by finding the contradictions in, and between their ideas
– Ryuunosuke can walk around during the trial as he’s thinking
– The last argument is where you have your last chance to convince the jury of your client’s innocence
– If all jury members decide on guilty, then it’s over
– If there is a majority votes not guilty after the closing argument, you win
– Takumi had considered a multiple-ending game at first, but in the end, settled on this
– During trials, you can question multiple witnesses at once and yell “HANG ON!” if one is acting up, much like PLvsPW
– Special attention has been paid to camerawork, a sense of space and eye movements of the characters
– Case 1: “The Adventure of the Grand Travelers”
– The prosecutor in this case is Taketsuchi Auchi, Payne’s ancestor
– Case one’s waiter witness is named Satoru Hosonaga
– A mysterious, elaborately-dressed woman is also shown without a name
– DLC featuring Ryuunosuke and Asougi will be available 7/9 to 7/19 for free
– The episode is called “Randst Magazine Special Edition”
– It’s called out as a ‘game’, but it’s not clear if it’ll be a full case
– Randst Magazine comes from Strand Magazine, where the original Holmes stories were published
– The game’s limited edition will include a 48-page artbook and 10-track CD

We now have additional information about the Xenoblade Chronicles X soundtrack, which is due out on May 20.

A total of 55 tracks are included in the soundtrack. It was previously thought that there would be five CDs, but it’s now been made clear that there will actually be four.

Continue on below for a full track listing.

This week’s Famitsu has now been released, and we have several images from the magazine.

Highlights include The Great Ace Attorney, Rodea: The Sky Soldier, Splatoon, and Xenoblade 3D. We also have a look at PoPoLoCrois Farm Story and a few other titles, plus another ad for Level-5’s upcoming “Vision” event.

You can find the full set of scans in the gallery above.
