Nintendo had three new things to show at this year’s Game Awards. The company first provided new looks at Mario Maker as well as Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. To close out tonight’s show, Nintendo also brought along The Legend of Zelda for Wii U.

– Sailcloth is in the game
– Epona is back
– Swing sword on Epona, shoot arrows
– Insects and animal life
– Can volt off the horse, jump and shoot and arrow
– This happens in slow motion so it’s easier to aim
– Aonuma says the game will be released next year

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M will be released in North America on March 13.

The Game Awards 2014 will begin at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT. Nintendo games are nominated for several awards, but will the company itself have something new to show? It appears the answer is yes, though we’ll only know for sure once the event finishes!

Warner Bros. Interactive is bringing a new LEGO Ninjago game to 3DS. In celebration of International Ninja Day, the company today announced “LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin”.

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, which is developed by TT Fusion, tells an untold story of the LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV show. View the official story overview below:

There is a new threat in Ninjago, and his name is Ronin. With help from his army of dark samurai, Ronin steals the Ninjas’ memories using an ancient weapon called the Obsidian Glaive. The Ninjas forget how to use their elemental powers, and it is up to the players to help them find their Obsidian weapons, regain their memories and reclaim their powers before Ronin completes his plan and releases an even greater evil on Ninjago.

A new system update can now be downloaded for Wii U. As of today, version 5.3.2 is available.

Today’s update is on the simple side of things, as it’s all about stability and improving the user experience. You’ll need to download it if you want to access the eShop.

Total Shovel Knight sales have surpassed 300,000 units, Yacht Club Games has announced. That number is across all available platforms – Wii U, 3DS, and PC.

Yacht Club wrote on Twitter:


Yacht Club revealed back in August that Shovel Knight had sold 180,000 copies in its first month.

Tomonobu Itagaki and the team at Valhalla Game Studios have been working hard on Devil’s Third since the game was last shown at E3. Their effort has payed off, as Itagaki told one fan on his Facebook page that the visuals have been improved.

Itagaki mentioned that the textures, weapon and environment models, and lighting have seen an upgrade. Ultimately, “it’s looking completely different now.”

Itagaki’s words in full:

The amount of progress we’ve made since then will surprise anyone.?Higher-quality textures, improved weapon and environment models,?better lighting… it’s looking completely different now.

That’s not all Valhalla has changed in Devil’s Third. The assignment of buttons have been modified, and the HUD UI has changed.
