Aonuma says he wouldn’t want to work on Mario because he’s not good at it
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News, Podcast Stories | 0 comments
Kotaku recently asked Zelda producer about which Nintendo franchise he’d like to work on next if given the opportunity.
We know one thing: it wouldn’t be Mario.
Aonuma told Kotaku that he’s “not any good at that type of jumping game.”
He was next suggested Pikmin. He believes that if he were to make a new entry in this series, it could turn into Zelda because he feels the two share some parallel idaes.
Here’s the full exchange between Aonuma and Kotaku:

Call of Duty is typically associated with the term “hardcore game”. However, you might be surprised to hear that a bulk of the series’ userbase isn’t actually made up of dedicated players.
OXM recently asked Infinity Ward’s executive producer Mark Rubin whether he anticipates the franchise’s audience staying the same after Call of Duty: Ghosts launches. He does believe this will be the case, as there are “an enormous amount of players who are more in the casual game space”. Rubin added that these types of players “aren’t hardcore gamers, or even gamers, but they play Call of Duty every night.”
He said:
