Runner3 will be on Switch towards the start of 2018. When it does release, it won’t just be an eShop title. Nicalis announced a partnership with Choice Provisions today that will bring fans a physical version.

You’ll be able to find Runner3 on store shelves in Q1 2018. The physical version will be priced at $39.99. Given Nicalis’ past, it’ll probably come with some goodies other than just the game on a cartridge.

Nintendo of America president has shared more about the Switch’s success in an interview with Variety.

First, Reggie revealed that three games have been bought by more than 50% of Switch owners. Those games are Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Mario Odyssey. Splatoon 2, meanwhile, has been purchased by one in four Switch owners.

Finding the Switch in Japan still isn’t an easy process. Locating the system on store shelves isn’t really possible.

This month, Nintendo is hoping to further improve the situation. The company said today that it intends “to ship more units than ever before so that even more consumers can purchase and enjoy Nintendo Switch.”

We’ll have fresh Media Create data for the week of December 4 tomorrow. That’ll give us the latest look at how many Switch units have been sold in Japan.
