Toys vs Monsters launches this week, December 18th on the Nintendo eShop. Check out the official launch trailer below:

According to a possible leak from Famitsu it looks like the recently announced 3DS game, Rorona Atelier will launch in Japan on March 26, 2015.

It also seems as if the game will have a special unlock-able feature called “Atelier Astrid”. This unlocked feature will take place when Astrid Zexis and Sterkenburg “Sterk” Cranach are younger, and you will be able to see how they lived their lives.

There also seems to be a variable difficulty option in the game.

Although no additional information is available at this time, we are sure to see more updates as the time draws nearer to the release date.

Stay tuned for future updates.

In his latest tweet, Tetsuya Takahashi introduces two new members of the Xenoblade Chronicles X development team.

Fumihiro Katagai and RARE Engine, are the latest artists to be introduced however no specifics are given as to what the two are working on.

Katagai is a mecha/conceptual designer who works on anime, and RARE Engine is an illustrator who mostly works on magazine illustrations and artwork for digital card games.

Takahashi goes on to ask for patience as he knows that continually introducing designers via twitter could get rather boring, he wants to make sure he can introduce as many artists as possible.

Takahashi feels that at this time the general direction of the game has been set ,therefore it makes it difficult for new people to join at this point so he is very grateful to those who have accepted to take part.

With the recent release of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and the 1st and 2nd wave of amiibo, I have started to reflect on how these little NFC “Figure Players” have added an entirely new dynamic to the series that we’ve never had during this franchise’s history. With the addition of the amiibo we’re given an array of new possibilities that add depth and scope to a game that already had quite a bit for a brawler, and even with other companies having already released similar types of “toy” peripherals we are seeing a whole new side to what the future might hold for video games.

Here are some bits of information from the 3rd Bravely Second live stream:

– New job revealed “Cat Master”

– New information to be released in this week’s issue of GanGan

– New trailer just completed featuring the first in game look at Emperor Oblivion and Tiz’s voice is heard at the end

–  Complete certain actions in the demo and  you will then get in game items once released, you will also be able to 20 Streetpasses which will help get you started on rebuilding moon city

– Possible bonus from having save file from first game

– Current quest style is demo only

– More demos to be released

– New author for the novel in the Collector’s pack

– Possibly will make the U’s journal and download code for Magnolia’s outfit from the Collector’s addition at a later date

– Towns and Dungeons from the first game will come back but the look and gameplay will be different

– 3DS themes planned

– No decision on overseas release at this time

– SP recharges in in sleep mode and while you play

– No music player in-game

– The TGS demo will be available to play at Jump Festa next week, along with a livestream

Bravely Second will be launching for 3DS in Japan on April 23, 2015.
