Skeletal Avenger reaching Switch tomorrow

After a little break on Switch, 10tons is back with another Switch game: Skeletal Avenger. The hack and slash roguelite will be available tomorrow, November 4, the studio has announced.
Skeletal Avenger was first confirmed for Switch in May 2020. 10tons originally hoped to have it ready in late 2020.

SEGA Genesis shooter Gynoug coming to Switch

Gynoug, a retro shooter that originally debuted on the SEGA Genesis, is now making its way to Switch. Ratalaika Games announced today that the title is arriving on November 12.
Gynoug, known in North America as Wings of Wor, first appeared in 1991. It comes with six levels, a power up system that increases your fire power and force as you progress and succeed, a high configurable CRT shader, a special mode that enables accessibility features, a rewind mode and save/load state functionality, and more.

Megaton Musashi gameplay

A good chunk of gameplay has come in for Megaton Musashi. Thanks to IGN, we have 14 minutes of footage.
Megaton Musashi is almost here on Switch – at least in Japan. Level-5 originally announced the title in 2016 so it’s been a long wait since then. Originally, the project was planned for 3DS.

Dawn of the Monsters new details, debut trailer, release window

Last year, publisher WayForward and developer 13AM Games – the studio behind Runbow – announced Dawn of the Monsters. It’s been awhile since we last heard about the project, but we have a substantial update today.
Dawn of the Monsters, a co-op brawler that lets you play as a Kaiju, has confirmed four playable beasts: Megadon, Ganira, Aegis Prime, and Tempest Galahad. They all come with Brutal Rage abilities, Cataclysm Attacks, and finishing moves. The title also features a comic book-like art style. In fact, kaiju designs are being handled by Godzilla character creator Shiji Nishikawa and Godzilla comic book artist Matt Frank.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Switch Online Game Trial confirmed for Europe

Nintendo Switch Online members in Europe will be able to participate in a Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, it’s been announced.
Those in North America were able to offer the same trial in mid September. Players in Europe will now be able to experience all parts of the game starting on November 10.

Beat ’em up game Paprium coming to Switch

Despite being a 2020 title, WaterMelon released its beat ’em up game Paprium on the SEGA Genesis. It was similar to Pier Solar and the Great Architects, which started out on the classic console, but later ended up on Wii U.
As for Paprium, the title is now making the jump to new consoles, including Switch. The team had been looking to raise $299,999, but has already demolished that goal with the campaign generating about $450,000 with a month and a half to go.

Mario Golf: Super Rush now has new Koopa Troopa colors for Ranked Match reward

Nintendo and Camelot have reset the Ranked Match feature for Mario Golf: Super Rush to kick off November, and players can now claim new colors for Koopa Troopa as a reward. The latest options include red, blue, and yellow.
Mario Golf: Super Rush has its Ranked Match reset when a new month starts, offering players a chance to earn a reward. The new Koopa Troopa colors can be claimed by reaching the rank of A- before the end of the month – which can be easily done by playing a few matches. Once unlocked, head on over to the select screen in Mario Golf: Super Rush, hover over Koopa Troopa, and continue pressing the “L” button to pick the color of your choice.

Rumor: Donkey Kong will be getting his own solo movie with Seth Rogen

A new solo animated movie for Donkey Kong is in the works, a report from GiantFreakinRobot claims.
Much about the supposed project is not yet known. However, Illumination would be in charge of handling the film and Seth Rogen would again be voicing the character. Rogen is set to play Donkey Kong in next year’s Super Mario animated movie, which is on track for December 2022.

Fire Emblem Heroes Ninja Training summoning event announced

Ninja Training has been announced as the next summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes. It will feature characters who have donned ninja garb and will be going live later this week.
