Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash

With no prior announcement from Akira, Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash has just shadowdropped on the Japanese Switch eShop. The North American and European release is set for April 15.

Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash can be downloaded for free, with players gaining access to Arcade Mode and local offline multiplayer with four characters. The “Full Pack,” priced at $24.99, adds the Training Mode, online ranked and casual matches, and an additional 14 characters for a total of 18 playable characters (plus all color options). Akira will be updating the game later on with an online spectate mode.

Star Wars: Republic Commando

Aspyr and Limited Run Games are teaming up on a physical release for Star Wars: Republic Commando on Switch.

Fans will be able to choose between two versions: standard and collector’s edition. With the collector’s edition, you’ll be receiving goodies such as art cards, a reversible poster, and steelbook all housed in an iconic outer box.

Pre-orders for the Star Wars: Republic Commando physical release open on April 16 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. They’ll be live for four weeks.

HypeTrain Digital and RedRuins Softworks have announced that they’re about to release Breathedge – an ironic outer space survival adventure game – on Switch. Fans can expect to see the title on April 6.

Original (3/29): Koei Tecmo announced today that Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy have together shipped over one million copies.

In celebration of the milestone, there are plans for both titles to receive a special DLC costume. The first Atelier Ryza will also re-release the Summer Adventure and Divertimento’s Embrace costumes.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy are both currently available on Switch.

The Skylia Prophecy

It’s been confirmed that the Metroidvania game The Skylia Prophecy will be reaching Switch next month. It’s lined up for release on April 23, 7 Raven Studios and Ezekiel Rage announced today.

Sold Out and Auroch Digital today announced Brewmaster, a beer brewing simulator. The title is scheduled for release on Switch in 2022.
