It’s been nearly a week now since the big Nintendo leak involving game prototypes, source code, and more. But discoveries pertaining to some of the companies older games continue to emerge, and if you’re a fan of history or some of the Big N’s classics, you might be interested in some of the latest findings.

Among the leaks is the discovery of human NPCs in the original Animal Crossing while it was being developed for the N64, and we even have a few images of these characters. Another major finding is are in-development sprites of Mario with wings from Super Mario World.

Stardew Valley

ConcernedApe has partnered with Fangamer on a physical version of Stardew Valley for the west. Fans can purchase a standard copy or collector’s edition.

Volta X

GungHo Online Entertainment America has set a release date for the real-time strategy giant robot battler Volta-X. It will launch on August 12 via the eShop, the company has announced.

Merchant of the Skies

The trading and base-building game Merchant of the Skies landed today on Switch. For a look at some footage, check out the video below.

Spiritfarer

Thunder Lotus has debuted new gameplay from Spiritfarer, the “cozy management game about dying”. In the third teaser below, fans can get a glimpse at multiple characters and environments and more.

Spiritfarer arrives on Switch later in 2020.

Darkestville Castle

Back in 2018, a Switch version of Darkestville Castle was teased. The point-and-click adventure game has now been officially confirmed, and will be out in just a couple of weeks.

Moon

The anti-RPG Moon initially released for the original PlayStation back in 1997, but never saw a western release. Onion Games then brought the title to Switch in Japan last year, and it’s now finally getting a proper English release.

Onion Games confirmed today that it will offer Moon for Switch in the west on August 27. It will be sold digitally via the eShop.

Heroes of Hammerwatch: Ultimate Edition

Heroes of Hammerwatch: Ultimate Edition, a rogue-lite-action-RPG, found its way to Switch yesterday. View some footage in the video below.

Bite the Bullet - Synthwave Mode

Bite the Bullet, a roguelite RPG shooter, is planned for an August 13 release on Switch. After the game’s launch, a major new mode will be introduced.

As part of Synthwave Mode, players will be able to experience Bite the Bullet in synthwave colors while listening to music from several artists, including Waveshaper, Night Runner, Retröxx and Magic Sword. It’ll feature neo-synth electronic visual and camera effects when the synth bio-implant is equipped as well as Hidden Synth Deity NPC that are accessible through square-wave teleporters.

OkunoKA Madness

Ignition Publishing and developer Caracal Games have revealed OkunoKA Madness, a hardcore platformer for Switch. It’s a follow-up to the original OkunoKA, which made it to Nintendo’s console in November 2018.
