Nintendo has put out a new video highlighting some of the games that were added to the eShop around July 2019. Get a look at it below.

Klabater has announced that Big Pharma, a “part business sim, part logistics puzzle” game, will be made available on Switch. It’s currently targeted for release in Q3 2019.

Bethesda surprised fans last week by re-releasing Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 on the latest consoles, including Switch. Digital Foundry has now examined the ports in greater detail, which are a bit of a mixed bag.

Doom and Doom II, which were handled by Nerve Software, suffer the most. These ports have uneven pixels, incorrect aspect ratio, jutter due to uneven frame persistence, overly bright lighting, and issues with music playback speed and poor sound effect playback.

The Japanese Switch eShop has updated with the latest retro game from Hamster. This week, the company has prepared Arcade Archives Victory Road. It’s out now in Japan, with other regions following tomorrow.

Victory Road originally debuted in 1986. It’s a sequel to Ikarai Warriors, and has players taking down enemies with a variety of weapons.

Arcade Archives Victory Road will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Newt One, a nonviolent musical 3D platformer, will soon be making its way to Switch. Whitethorn Digital and DevNAri have announced that the title is slated for a digital release on August 30.

Seaven Studio announced today that it is porting the 2D city builder Lethis: Path of Progress to Switch. It’s due out later this year on the eShop.

Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise was originally planned for an early 2019 release on Switch. That launch window came and went, but we do now have an actual date. A new listing on the Japanese Switch eShop has the adventure game down for August 29.

Victory Road Studios and TERNOX today announced that they are bringing Taimumari: Complete Edition, a retro-style platform game, to Switch next week. It’s due out in North America and Europe on August 9.
