Microids is currently prepping the remake of Toki for Switch. It was originally slated for the end of this month, but will now be seeing a slight delay to December 4.

Microids previously announced the Toki Retrollector Edition, though as it turns out, it’ll be retailer-exclusive in the states. A listing shows that only GameStop will be selling the limited edition in North America.

In case you’re curious, the Toki Retrollector Edition includes the game, wooden arcade machine, exclusive prints by Philippe Dessoly, comic with an original storyline also illustrated by Philippe Dessoly, and a sticker sheet. Pre-orders are open here.

Sonic Power has discounted about a dozen games on the 3DS eShop as part of an autumn sale. Titles in the Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero series, Japanese Rail Sim 3D series, Waku Waku Sweets, and Skypeace are 50% off.

The full lineup is as follows:

Trailblazers

Trailblazers finally makes its debut on Switch next week in physical and digital form. Watch some footage in the video below.

At PAX Aus 2018, a special panel was held in which four different indies discussed bringing their games to Switch and more. Ash Ringrose from SMG Studio, Henrik Pettersson from The Voxel Agents, League of Geeks’ Matthew Rowland, and Harmonious Games’ Joe Park were in attendance.

For almost two years now, we’ve heard from a number of indies about how well their games sold on Switch. This is something that was brought up during the panel as well, with most of the developers sharing information and data about their eShop performance.

Roarr! Jurassic Edition

On Wednesday, Roarr! Jurassic Edition made it to the Switch eShop. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

It was unexpectedly announced yesterday that the physical version of Hollow Knight has been cancelled. We had only heard from Skybound at the time, but Team Cherry has issued its own response now as well.

Team Cherry said that pursuing the retail version “proved more work than we could reasonably manage.” While the company may explore a different way for this to happen in the future, it will probably “be in smaller quantities.”

Yesterday, Frozenbyte brought Trine Enchanted Edition to Switch – with the second and third games to follow soon. Get a look at some footage below.

Enter the Gungeon

At PAX Aus 2018 a couple of weeks ago, Eric managed to catch up with Dave Crooks from Dodge Roll. Crooks had plenty to say about Enter the Gungeon, but also the studio’s next game.

Crooks told us that a “pseudo sequel to Gungeon” could come next “in the sense that it would be like of a similar tone and a similar art style and such”. Also, while Enter the Gungeon didn’t have multiplayer, this is a possibility for the upcoming project since the team is currently building the proper tools for it this time around.
