Extend today announced Bustafellows, a traditional crime and suspense-themed visual novel. It’s due out later this year on Switch.

Update: Umihara Kawase Fresh! has been confirmed for an April 25th release in the west as well.

Success Corporation has set a release date for Umihara Kawase Fresh! In Japan at least, the title is slated for April 25. It will be sold physically and digitally.

There are also plans to distribute Umihara Kawase Fresh! outside of Japan. However, a release date has not yet been announced.

Compile Heart has readied a new trailer for Moero Chronicle H, which arrives on the Japanese Switch eShop next week. You can find it below.

Battlloon was announced for Switch at BitSummit last May. Famitsu provides an update on the project this week, and more specifically, a release date. It’s due out via the eShop on February 28.

For those who missed our previous coverage, Battlloon is an action game that supports up to four players locally. Players battle it out against others by fighting and bumping into each other as balloons.

Deadline, which has accurately reported in happenings within the television and movie industry, is claiming that Netflix is working on a scripted TV series for Resident Evil. German production and distribution company Constantin Film, which is behind the Resident Evil movies, has been named as the studio involved. Netflix is apparently looking for a showrunner at the moment.

Deadline adds that “the plan is for the series to expand the Resident Evil universe and deepen the exiting mythology.” It will “keep the basic premise, which also served as a setup for the movie franchise. The drama series will explore the dark inner workings of the Umbrella Corporation and the new world order caused by the outbreak of the T-virus.” Fans can look forward to “all of Resident Evil’s signature elements, including action sequences and ‘easter eggs.'”

Magic Scroll Tactics has been available on the Japanese Switch eShop since October. We now have confirmation that a western release is in the works, and is happening soon. The eShop shows a release date of February 7.

Play-Asia has opened pre-orders for the Oniken + Odallus Collection. It will be exclusive to the retailer. If you’re interested in securing a copy, you can reserve it here.

In addition to a standard copy, Play-Asia is offering a limited edition. Only 5,000 copies will be made in total, split between 3,000 for the limited edition and 2,000 for the regular release.a

Super Rare Games has opened pre-orders for the Knights of Pen and Paper Double Pack. Two games are included, containing both titles that were originally made available on the Switch eShop.

You can pre-order a copy here. Note that only 3,000 copies will be produced. A release is planned for January 31.

Today, a new Nintendo patent was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. “Eye Tracking Enabled 3D Viewing” was back in September 2018, which is a device that can see where users are looking in order to deliver the optimal 3D viewing angle.
