A new manga about the life of Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri and Game Freak will soon be released in Japan. Game Freak staffer James Turner tweeted out some excerpts early, which show some interesting things pertaining to the franchise.
Some have believed that we would never get a good look at documentation for the original Pokemon games due to it being lost to time or never having exited. However, one of the manga panels actually has a look at an internal Game Freak poll from way back in the day.

Nintendo’s E3 2018 video presentation seems to have a final name

Update (5/17): The mention of “Nintendo Direct: E3 2018” has now been removed. It’s unclear if that’s due to the name being updated or because Nintendo didn’t want to share that name at this time.
Original (5/16): When Nintendo initially announced its plans for E3 2018 a few weeks ago, a digital presentation was confirmed. But at that time, the show didn’t actually have a name.
Now that seems to have changed. Nintendo updated its E3 website today, and it now includes the following title for the presentation: “Nintendo Direct: E3 2018”. It states specifically, “Three days of Nintendo Switch gameplay with Treehouse members and developers, starting right after Nintendo Direct: E3 2018 with Super Smash Bros.”

The game managed to turn a profit within just 24 hours of its launch on Nintendo’s console, which took D-Pad “by complete surprise”. The success bodes well for funding future projects, according to co-CEO Jo-Remi Madsen.
Owlboy released on the Switch eShop back in February. A special limited edition will arrive in July.
