After making a few titles for 3DS, Abylight is now shifting its attention to Switch. The studio announced Qbics Paint for the system today.

Qbics Paint uses Switch’s touchscreen for 3D modeling and painting. You’ll be able to customize Qbics with a 24-color palette. There’s a “Creation Mode to sculpt and paint freestyle your own Qbics – or let your imagination run wild editing those you already unlocked, and combine it with the Image mode using a wide range of stock images to get you inspired”.

Here’s a rundown of features:

⦁ Release your stress with its relaxing gameplay while you train your creative skills and your spatial vision
⦁ Anyone can sculpt and paint in 3D by using its user-friendly interface
⦁ The touch screen of the Nintendo Switch makes a great canvas to create artwork that can be shared at Social Media through the Capture Button
⦁ 4 game modes: Sculpt, Paint, Creation, and Image
⦁ More than 50 models to unlock and 50 empty spaces to create your own figures

Qbics Paint will be available this year on the eShop. Abylight will share a final release date “shortly.”

Original: French outlet Challenges provides a first look at a new logo that Ubisoft will be using going forward. We’ve attached it above.

Speaking with the site, Ubisoft’s Courtney Riss spoke about wanting to take advantage of the spiral design, which signifies original creation – along the lines of the Big Bang. However, it needed to be modernized so that it would be more direct and simple.

This is the third time in Ubisoft’s history that the company is changing its logo with four designs overall. Here’s a look at past designs:

Europe is catching up with a new Wii U Virtual Console game this week. Having previously been published in North America, Bonk’s Revenge will be out this week in Europe. Nintendo’s website lists it for release tomorrow.

Here’s an overview:

“The hard-headed hero is back for more in the second instalment of the Bonk series. Taking place in the Monster Kingdom, Bonk the Caveman must travel far and wide to find and defeat King Drool III.

Bonk’s™ Revenge is a side-scrolling action game in which you headbutt your enemies while you make your way to the end of each stage. Double or even triple your attack power by eating the slabs of meat that appear through the stages.

There are eight different hidden Bonus Stages, and the Dinosaur Train that appears after you defeat a boss will change depending on how many Smileys you’ve collected. With new actions available such as the Triangle Jump and the ability to climb trees, as well as seven variety-packed stages, Bonk’s™ Revenge will keep you playing again and again.”
