Nintendo has teamed up with Western Digital Corporation on a new global partnership. The two sides are creating Nintendo-licensed memory cards for use with Switch.

Consumers will be able to purchase microSDXC cards in capacities of 64 GB and 128 GB, and will feature the Switch and SanDisk logos. These will begin to appear at select retail outlets starting in October 2017.

Japanese publisher Flyhigh Works just held a video presentation ahead of the Tokyo Game Show next month, which announced new games for Switch and more. Three titles are confirmed for Switch: Deemo, OPUS: The Day We Found Earth, Teslagrad.

Deemo is a rhythm game made by Rayark Games, the same team behind Implosion. It will be released in Japan this month, and likely the west soon as well.

Beginning this fall, gamers can enter codes found in specially marked packages of Post cereals for a chance to win one of 500 Nintendo Switch Prize Packs. Along with a Switch system, winners will receive Super Mario Odyssey.

Codes will be spread across 20 million Post Consumer Brand cereal boxes such as Honey Bunches of Oats, Grape Nuts, Honeycomb, Golden Crisp, and Alpha-Bits. Malt-O-Meal cereals including Honey Graham Toasters, Coco Roos, and Marshmallow Mateys will have codes as well.

During Nintendo’s Nindies@Night event in Seattle, several independent developers revealed new details about their upcoming indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch system. This included the announcement of three new amiibo figures in the Shovel Knight series, as well as additional info from games like Super Meat Boy Forever, Floor Kids, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and Shovel Knight: King of Cards.

On Aug. 30, Nintendo presented a Nindies Showcase video that covered 20 indie games coming to Nintendo Switch. The Nindies@Night event was an opportunity for several indie developers to speak to attending video game fans in more detail about their upcoming games. Some of these developers included Tommy Refenes from Super Meat Boy Forever, JonJon and Kid Koala from Floor Kids, Suda51 from Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, and Sean Velasco and Alec Faulkner from Shovel Knight: King of Cards.
