Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter page and blog have a few extra details about ARMS Global Testpunch. The online demo will begin towards the end of next week.
To reiterate, seven fighters are included: Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Master Mummy, Ninjara, Mechanica, Min Min, and Helix. With each one, you can choose from their standard ARMS. It’s also possible to play the demo with one or two players with a single Switch unit. The ARMS Global Testpunch can be experienced with the Party Match mode, including V-Ball.
When connecting with players in lobbies, versus rules will be automatically selected. It also looks like there’s a “Warm Up” option and the ability to change your fighter while waiting.

NIS America published a demo for Disgaea 5 Complete on the Switch eShop this week. If you’re on the fence, it’s a good opportunity to try out the strategy RPG.
Some information was floating around that it’s possible to transfer progress over to the full game. But unfortunately, NIS America said on Twitter that it’s not actually possible. You can save in the demo itself, but data can’t be moved over to the retail release.
NIS America passed along the news on Twitter:
We'd like to confirm the save feature of #Disgaea5Complete's demo. The save data cannot be transferred to the full game.
— NIS America, Inc. (@NISAmerica) May 17, 2017
You are able to save during the demo, however. We apologize for the miscommunication with some fans earlier. Thanks for your understanding!
