If the latest rumor is to be believed, Switch will contain 4GB of RAM. That’s according to Emily Rogers, who has been spot-on with most speculation about the system so far.

Why is this noteworthy? Well, Switch would effectively be doubling up on the Wii U in this area. Wii U only offered 2GB of RAM, so 4GB would be a significant jump.

The latest issue of Famitsu has shared a listing of the top 30 best-selling games in Japan for the month of September 2016. You can check out the full results below.

It was overĀ a year ago when we heard about Slain! coming to Wii U. Unfortunately, it now seems that it’s unlikely for the eShop.

When asked about the status of Slain! on Wii U, the game’s developer said:

“No, we can’t confirm Wii U date, or that it is happening just yet. We were hoping it would but sales on that platform are just too weak to justify the port from what we have seen.”

Slain! was originally featured in an announcement from Nintendo last March about games in development for the Wii U eShop. In fact, the game still has a listing on Nintendo’s North American website.

Square Enix is seemingly ending the Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series. With Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3, which launches in Japan next February, no additional games will be created. The latest issue of V Jump mentions that this latest title will be the final adventure and “grand finale.”

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional will be a compilation of sorts. Over 700 monsters will be included in the game. The original Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 came out in March.

The Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series started out on DS a decade ago. In North America and Europe, the first two titles were localized, though the third one isn’t available in English currently.

Nintendo recently published another new interview on its Japanese website to promote the NES Classic Edition / Famicom Mini. This time, Yoshio Sakamoto of Metroid fame sat down to talk about Balloon Fight. Nick Mosier translated the piece, which had some interesting talk about how the game was made, memories of the late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, and a GBA hardware idea that was cancelled after making it to the mock-up stage.

We’ve picked out some notable excerpts from the interview below. You can read the full translation here.
