Nintendo has now made the Super Mario Maker booklet available online. You can download the PDF version from the official Japanese website here. Of course, if you purchase the actual game, you’ll be able to have a physical copy.

Next month, Nintendo will be shipping out a 256-page Mario encyclopedia in Japan. It contains content pertaining to 17 Mario games from the original Super Mario Bros. up through Super Mario World. In terms of content, readers can expect coverage of characters, enemies, power-ups, items, stages, techniques and graphics of each game.

The encyclopedia goes on sale on October 19. Pricing is set at 3,132 yen.

Yesterday, thanks to an early Famitsu leak, we heard about three new characters for Project X Zone 2. We learned that Segata Sanshiro will be included in the game as a solo unit, along with Heihachi from Tekken and June Lin Milliam from Star Gladiator.

Famitsu has now published its article online, and another round of characters have been revealed. Zephyr and Vashyron from Resonance will be a pair unit in Project X Zone 2. That’s in addition to Reanbell – from the same game – who acts as a solo unit.

Finally, we have some news about enemies. Zagi from Tales of Vesperia, Baby Bonnie Hood from Darkstalkers, Kite from .hack//G.U., and Shadow from Space Channel 5 will be encountered.

Today, Teyon nailed down a North American release date for its eShop game Zombie Defense. The title will be sold on the eShop starting on September 17 for $7.99.

Zombie Defense previously launched in Europe last Thursday.
