In October, we mentioned that Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition would be receiving an update in Japan. The patch will bring about a few new additions for Mario and more.

Thanks to Famitsu, we now know when this update will be going live. The magazine pinned down a December 17 date in its issue last week. There hasn’t been any news for the west, but I’d be surprised if it didn’t make it over here as well.

Another video for Taiko Drum Master: Atsumete Tomodachi Daisakusen has come in. This time around, we have a look at Animal Crossing and Pac-Man content that can be unlocked through amiibo. Check out the video below.

Update: This deal is now dead. Marth and Ganondorf are gone while Falco is back up to $13.

Three amiibo are currently available on Best Buy for $9 each. Those are as follows:

Marth
Ganondorf
Falco

I’ll try to keep the post updated if any amiibo sell out.

Nintendo UK has posted a new Xenoblade Chronicles X video featuring speed-runner Alexander ‘Bowie’ Pett, who gives an in-depth tour of Primordia. Check it out below.

IGN has a few minutes of footage up from Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 3. Take a look at the video below.

Dementium Remastered is due out in North America next week. But what about Europe? According to Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham, the team is targeting a January/February launch.

Watsham said on Twitter earlier today:

Update (11/26): Bumped to the top. The Wii Remote and nunchuk icon has been removed from the page. So it was either an error, or something was let out earlier than planned.

Original (11/25): It’s absolutely certain that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will work with the Wii U GamePad. It’s possible though that the Wiimote and nunchuck – a setup used in the Wii version of the game – will also be compatible. The Nintendo.se website lists both options on its Twilight Princess HD page.

Despite the listing, we won’t say that this is confirmed yet. After all, there have been occasions in which Nintendo website pages have carried incorrect information. Still, it’s certainly possible, and it’d be quite interesting to see how it’s handled if true.
