DNF Duel Monk

February 14: Nexon, Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting have announced Monk as the latest DLC character for DNF Duel. As of now there’s no word on a release date.

The official description reads: “Brace yourselves, Monk is coming! Get ready for intense Holy Fist battles in DNF DUEL. The stage is set for divine justice—are you up for the challenge?”

Riviera The Promised Land

January 31: According to this week’s issue of Famitsu, Riviera: The Promised Land is heading to Switch. Thus far it’s only confirmed for Japan where it’s set to launch on February 28, 2024.

Sting first revealed the Riviera: The Promised Land last July. However, there was no word on platforms at the time.

Cybertrash Statyx

Publisher Sometimes You, in partnership with developer Uncle Frost Team, today announced that Cybertrash Statyx is set for release on Switch. The game is due out on March 13, 2024.

Cybertrash Statyx is a tactical 2D action platformer that takes place in a cyberpunk world. Additional details are available in the following overview:

Dungeon Drafters release date

Dungeon Drafters is just a couple of weeks away with the game’s release date now revealed. As provided by an eShop listing, Dangen Entertainment will be publishing the title on March 14, 2024.

Dungeon Drafters was confirmed for Switch way back in 2020. Dangen Entertainment then announced in 2022 that it had picked up the game for publishing.

Outer Wilds physical

A physical release of Outer Wilds was first teased when the game was first launching for Switch digitally at the end of last year, but now we have full details.

iam8bit will be handling the physical version. The Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition includes the base game and Echoes of the Eye expansion as well as a foldout planetary chart poster by Mobius Digital concept artist Ian Jacobson. Additionally, available via the iam8bitstore is a collector’s edition containing a canvas traveler’s adventure bag, explorer’s journey + game sleeve, Chert’s bandana, set of seven planetary patches, bonus item from a doomed timeline, and eye of the universe clasp.

Mortal Kombat 1 February 2024 update

A new February 2024 update has gone out for Mortal Kombat 1.

The highlight is the addition of Peacemaker as a DLC character and Janet Cage as a Kameo Character (launching in March). Elsewhere there’s a new round of balance adjustments, fixes, and more.

Hebereke Enjoy Edition

City Connection today announced Hebereke Enjoy Edition, a new version of Ufouria: The Saga. We already have a confirmed release date of March 28, 2024.

Remember that Ufouria: The Saga 2 launches for Switch on March 1.

As for Hebereke Enjoy Edition, here’s what to expect:

February 21: Monsters Inc. is getting new content in Disney Dreamlight Valley via a new “The Laugh Floor” update. It’s confirmed to be available on February 28, 2024.

The update adds a new door inside the Dream Castle that will transport players to the Laugh Floor Realm, taking them on an adventure inspired by Monsters Inc and stars Mike Wazowski and Sulley. It’ll come with new Quest lines, customization items, a brand-new Star Path, new Premium Shop items, and more.

Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo Tag Team Tourney

There’s still a little bit of new stuff happening in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the previously-announced amiibo Tag Team Tourney is now beginning this week.

Players will be able to summon an FP from its amiibo and team up with it during the time-limited Team Battle tourney. By working together with their FP, they can come out on top.
