Mario Kart 8 has unused cup icons?

A pair of hackers from the UK have allegedly detected a few unused cup icons in Mario Kart 8. At this time, we cannot confirm their validity.
If true though, it’d be interesting to see why they were abandoned. Were they simply images left behind during development? Or could they hint at something more significant such as DLC?

Video: Mario Kart 8 with Raspberry Pie makes for neat ambient light effects

This seems like a neat little thing. One gamer made use of Raspberry Pie tech so that ambient lights illuminating from behind the TV correspond to the colors from the game. You can find a couple of tutorial videos on putting the whole thing together here and here.

Off-screen video of Hyrule Warriors’ final stage

Hyrule Warriors won’t be out in Japan until later this week, but someone has posted an off-screen video showing the game’s final stage. I personally wouldn’t suggest watching it if you have interest in the game. Still, you can continue on below if you’re truly interested in checking out the last level!

Toss N Go now targeted for October

RCMADIAX has released two card/casino/dice style games thus far: Poker Dice Solitaire Future and Shut The Box. The developer is also working on a third title under the same genre called “Toss N Go”.
Toss N Go was originally slated for this summer. However, it’s now been moved to October, according to RCMADIAX.
The developer confirmed on Twitter:

White Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter spotted, but it won’t be sold in stores

NintendoWorldReport spotted a white colored Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter – pictured above – at a recent Nintendo event. However, before anyone starts jumping to any sort of conclusions, note that it won’t be sold in stores. It’s nothing more than a pre-production model sadly!

Mappy-Land has received a rating from Australia’s classification board. The listing should hint at a Virtual Console release on Nintendo’s platforms sometime in the future. It’s only a matter of time really!
