Nintendo Life published a new interview with Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino. Hino had much to say about Layton’s Mystery Journey, including how he wants to make “Mystery Journey” a new series, supporting Switch in the future, and a possible new movie.

Code for Pokemon Sun and Moon gives 5 Mega Stones

By entering the code MATSUBUSA, you will be given 5 Mega Stones for your copy of Pokemon Sun or Moon. The stones include Sceptilite, Blazikenite, Swampertite, Banettite and Cameruptite. There is no indicator for how long the event will last, so it might be better to download sooner than later.
Update: The code seems to now be available in Europe too, so the article has been updated to reflect that.

Tiny Tourney is now live

The latest Pokemon battle competition is now live in Pokemon Sun and Moon. The Tiny Tourney uses a double battle format and your Pokemon must be under 1.0 meter (3’03”). Transferred Pokemon can be used. All participants will receive Galladite, Gardevoirite, and Lopunnite. Battles will go from June 23rd – June 25th.

Whereas Metroid: Samus Returns will have a special edition in North America, Europe is receiving something that is much more special. Nintendo provided a first look at the Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition today.
The Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition will naturally include a copy of the game. Other than that, Nintendo is including a steelbook in the style of a Game Boy cartridge, download code for Metroid II on the 3DS Virtual Console, artbook, soundtrack CD, gold “S” pin badge, and Morph Ball 3D keyring,
Europe is getting Monster Hunter Stories on September 8

Monster Hunter Stories now has a final release date in Europe. Today, Nintendo announced that the game is set to arrive on September 8.
Monster Hunter Stories is without a concrete date in North America as of now. Nintendo is still sticking to a vague “fall” release window.

Nintendo highlights upcoming games slated for 3DS

Need a refresher as to what’s coming to 3DS for the remainder of 2017 and early 2018? Nintendo has you covered. The company put out an announcement highlighting the system’s upcoming release schedule.

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– With the E3 video game conference in the rear-view mirror, Nintendo is now looking ahead to all the great games coming to Nintendo 3DS this year. This includes games in some of gaming’s most popular and long-running franchises. Nintendo is highlighting many of these upcoming Nintendo 3DS games, including Metroid: Samus Returns, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Hey! PIKMIN and LAYTON’S MYSTERY JOURNEY: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy, the next game in the popular Layton series starring a new super-smart detective.
