Following this week’s Nintendo Direct, the Japanese Kirby: Planet Robobot site opened. More details about the game are included there.

In Kirby: Planet Robobot, Haltmann Works Company which controls a robot army turned Kirby and his homeland Planet Popstar into a world mixed with mechanisms. Kirby goes on an adventure to return the world to its original green nature.

A new trailer for Hyrule Warriors Legends was published today by Nintendo of Europe. For the latest look at the game, view the video below.

Atlus showed the first full trailer for Etrian Odyssey V during a live stream held a short while ago. You can watch it in full below.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games can now be pre-loaded from the North American 3DS eShop. You can hop on over to the store, pay for the game in full, and download most of the data. When Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games releases in two weeks, you’ll only need a small update to begin playing.

Interestingly, there is no pre-load option for Pokken Tournament as of now. Usually Nintendo makes this functionality available two weeks before a game launches, and it’s coming out on March 18 just like Mario & Sonic. It’s unclear if Pokken Tournament will have a pre-load before release.

In its first week in Japan, Mega Man Legacy Collection sold 23,942 units as reported by Media Create, or 22,259 copies if you’re going with Dengeki. Based on information from the latter sales tracker, the game sold through 50 percent of its initial shipment. Mega Man Legacy Collection is a package of classic titles rather than a brand new release in the series, so it’s a bit tough to judge its performance.

At Monster Hunter Festa this year, Capcom distributed the Monster Hunter Generations Concept Art Book. This has some interesting information about concepts for a pair of unused weapons. At one point, Capcom was considering the Hunting Hound and Wyvern Boomerang.

Here are some of the details about the two weapons as translated by Siliconera:

Hunting Hound

– Gunner class
– Dog is the primary weapon
– Dog could have armor made for it
– These would give it unique attacks and behavior
– Could find Monsters based on scent, or climbing to high places
– Issue button commands to coordinate attacks
– Ex: target body parts, like the tail, or focus on breaking horns, etc.
– Issuing a “follow the tail!” order would even have the pooch follow the Wyvern into the air
– Could ride it to move about the map faster, and it could be fed to recover health or stamina

Wyvern Boomerang

– Combos were even designed for this weapon
– Overhead attack not unlike the Great Sword
– Diversity is in its throwing attacks and how the player interacts with it in midair
– Throw it forward with “X”
– Throw it upward with “X+A”
– Round-house throw with “A”
– Before catching the boomerang after a throw, you’d be able to punch it back out into the air towards a Monster
– It could even break into two for more advanced combos
