When is the next Nintendo Direct?

Since it’s January, a topic of discussion that tends to pop up around this time is when the next Nintendo Direct will be. That’s not much of a surprise, especially since fans are always curious as to what Nintendo has in store. It’s not out of the question for a new presentation to happen as we start the new year so that we can get a better idea as to what’s planned from a first and third-party perspective.

Lets Talk Fire Emblem Engage impressions

Fire Emblem Engage is a pretty big deal. It’s Nintendo’s first big Switch release of 2023, and the second major entry in the series on Switch.

How many of you have picked up Fire Emblem Engage? If you’ve started the game, what are your early impressions? Let us know in the comments below.

Everyone’s talking about Fire Emblem right now, but don’t forget that another Nintendo IP is getting a new game soon! In this week’s episode, join your hosts Nick, Nicolas and Luiz as they discuss Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe and some of the new features being added to this unusual remaster. Lets Talk 2023 Nintendo predictions

We’ve been doing a lot of thinking about gaming when it comes to 2023 as of late, and we’ve got one more similar topic on that front. With the year just now starting, what are your predictions for Nintendo?

Something that will probably never go away is discussion about new hardware. Switch came out almost six years ago, so it’s no spring chicken at this point. Still, Nintendo hasn’t given any indication that it will be announcing a new product anytime soon.

Outside of hardware, there are always predictions to be had about other things. There are plenty of games that could be announced after all as just a few titles are known for the next twelve months. Another thing that people have interest in concerns upcoming Nintendo Directs, and when the first presentation of the year will air.

So what are your predictions for Nintendo in 2023? Let us know in the comments below.

Fae Farm preview

Phoenix Labs recently hosted a preview event for their upcoming Switch-exclusive Fae Farm. As only the second game from the developer, it takes a drastically different approach than the team’s first hack-and-slash monster slayer Dauntless. Coming from frantic combat and vicious creatures, Phoenix Labs instead chose a more relaxing and winding experience. Aiming for “cozy,” the mark has been hit fairly well, as upon joining the event I saw the players simply wandering their farm and watching butterflies meander along the fields.

As 2022 comes to a close, we’re starting to look forward to next year. 2023 is looking like a huge year for games and that’s in no small part thanks to Nintendo. We want to know: what’s your most anticipated game of next year?

The choice for many will likely be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Still, it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and there are other games to look forward to. Nintendo alone has already confirmed Fire Emblem Engage, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, Pikmin 4, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Third-parties will chip in with titles like Octopath Traveler II, Atelier Ryza 3, Hogwarts Legacy, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Digimon World: Next Order, and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection – just to name a few.

So tell us, which game are you most looking forward to in 2023? If you can’t decide on just one, let us know what you’re really excited about in the comments.
