GDC, one of the biggest gaming events of the year, was postponed last week due to concerns stemming from the coronavirus. It will now be held sometime during the summer.

With GDC having been pushed back and PAX East 2020 wrapping up this past weekend, the next notable gaming event to look forward to is E3 2020 in June. The Entertainment Software Association, who organizes E3, told Vice that the show is “moving ahead full speed”. Would you want to see something like Okami 2? Or how about Viewtiful Joe 3? That power lies entirely in Capcom’s hands of course, as the company owns those IPs. And for those that want to see those types of games become a reality, they’d have to make their interest known.

Unfortunately, GDC 2020 won’t be taking place as originally scheduled. Organizers for the event have announced that it has been postponed to this summer. Many attendees started to pull out over the past couple of weeks amid concerns from the coronavirus, so it makes sense to hold off for the time being.

With what we’ve seen and heard about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time over the many years since its release, it’s clear that the game went through significant changes. The graphics, gameplay, and more went through revisions throughout the course of development.

A few days ago, YouTuber Hard4Games showed off some beta footage from a promotional VHS tape. It was originally given out through a Blockbuster giveaway in Brazil for pre-ordering. We’re able to see an early character model for Zelda, Link swinging his sword while running, calling Epona with a reed, and more.
