Elite Beat Agents creator wants to make a new entry in the series

It’s been nearly a decade since we last saw an entry in the Elite Beat Agents / Ouendan franchise. That begs the question: will iNiS ever work on a new game? Elite Beat Agents creator Keiichi Yano does seem up for it.
Speaking with Polygon, Yano mentioned the following:
“I have a great relationship with Nintendo. I think, as with many of these types of games that have this following and at some point they come back, I think there will be a right time when it feels like [the series] should come back. A lot of times, the platform will dictate those kind of things.”
Yano also said that he would “certainly love to make another version of it, and hopefully it’s on the next platform.”
Look at the video below for Yano’s full response.

Wes Copeland breaks the all-time Donkey Kong record again, has a “perfect” game

Wes Copeland retook the Donkey Kong record this past week with 1,218,000 points, and essentially achieved a “perfect” game as he did not lose a single Mario in the process. Copeland was the previous record holder in January, but was topped by Robbie Lakeman last month who obtained a score of 1,190,000.
On Facebook, Copeland indicated that this is his “last record score.” Lakeman may be done as well, having chimed in on the situation with the following message: “I’m not lucky enough. Good enough, but not lucky enough.”
Here’s a look at Copeland’s playthrough:

Nintendo hosting a presentation for business partners at E3 2016
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 79 Comments
Aside from highlighting the upcoming Zelda game, Nintendo isn’t doing a whole lot at E3 this year. That being said, the company will be hosting a presentation for “business partners that will showcase key launches and programs through Holiday 2016.” Nintendo has conducted similar events in the past.
The presentation will be held on June 14 between 9 AM and 10 AM PT (12 PM ET and 1 PM ET). Keep in mind that it’s unlikely that we’ll be seeing much from this. If nothing else, it’s interesting to see this part of Nintendo’s E3 traditions is still alive!
