What The Dub?!

Wide Right Games has taken to Twitter to announce that a new update for What the Dub?! is on its way to Switch. Check out the patch notes below.

A new Gala Dragalia Remix will be arriving on Apr. 14, 11 PM PT. Adventurers such as 5-Star Humanoid Mercury and Child Ranzal will appear in the summon showcase. The featured illustration above shows Humanoid Mercury in full detail. Check out the other events in Dragalia Lost here, along with the Gala Dragalia Remix video:

  • The Elementary Escapades event started Apr. 11, 11 PM PT! Defend territory from waves of encroaching enemies in this solo-only event. Repel the Dyrenell Empire’s invasion and win peace for New Alberia!
  • This week’s Alberian Battle Royale started Apr. 13, 11 PM PT. This event will be held weekly from 11 PM PT on Wednesday to 10:59 PM PT on Thursday, and 11 PM PT on Saturday to 10:59 PM PT on Sunday. Enjoy these 16-person battles!
  • Poseidon’s Trial was added to Trials of the Mighty in Dragalia Lost on Apr. 13, 11 PM PT. Take on this quest with a team of wind-attuned dagger, wand, or staff adventurers to earn materials for unlocking Gala Elisanne’s mana spiral from the daily bonus.

 

This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Shin Hayarigami’s third entry will be arriving on Switch on July 29th in Japan, per Nippon Ichi Software. The visual horror novel will run 7,678 yen. Notably, the first game was ported to smart devices in English as Urban legend : Shin Hayarigami – Blindman, but it is unknown at this time whether the Japanese combo pack of the first two games, or this new third title will be localized for Western players. All we know so far about the game is that the main characters will be the same age as they were in the second installment, and multiple scenarios will be available for play through.

Trails and Traces: The Tomb of Thomas Tew

Ratalakia Games and Because Because Games are bringing the point-and-click adventure title Trails and Traces: The Tomb of Thomas Tew to Switch, the two companies confirmed today. It’ll be out next week – specifically April 23.

Stitchy in Tooki Trouble

After it was delayed by about a month, Stitchy in Tooki Trouble will be appearing on Switch later this week. Find some footage in the video below.

Animal Crossing

The Animal Crossing franchise is officially 20 years old. In Japan, the series first debuted on April 14, 2001.

Animal Crossing first started out as an N64 title, which was Japan-exclusive. It received an updated version on the GameCube at the end of 2001, with a worldwide release happening later.

The latest Animal Crossing game, New Horizons, came to Switch last March.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is gearing up for its latest tourney. This time around, it’ll be limited to explosion-type items and fighters that make use of bombs.

The new tournament goes live on April 16. Expect the event to last for a total of three days.
