The Messenger’s Picnic Panic DLC arrives this summer

Sabotage has provided an update on The Messenger’s new DLC, Picnic Panic. The additional content, which “promises to deliver on a fantastic new standalone storyline and a handful of new levels spreading across Voodkin Island”, will be arriving this summer. As previously announced, it will be entirely free.
Will you be attending PAX East 2019 later this month? If so, you can go hands on with Picnic Panic during the expo in the indie MEGABOOTH.

Fortnite now combines Switch and mobile player pools instead of PS4 / Xbox One

Fortnite updated to version 8.10 today. Buried in the patch notes is an interesting tidbit about a change to matchmatching.
According to Epic, Switch and mobile pools have been combined. This is much different compared to how the game handled things previously in which Switch players were combined with Xbox One and PS4 cross-play parties. Epic says it expects “an on-average better per-game experience” for Switch as well as mobile users.

Doughlings: Invasion hitting Switch this spring

Hollow Knight getting a physical release after all, including a collector’s edition

Hollow Knight was originally going to be receiving a physical version through Skybound Games. That didn’t happen in the end, but the game will be sold at retail after all.
Team Cherry will be moving forward with bringing Hollow Knight to retailers on its own. Additionally, a collector’s edition will be sold at Fangamer, which includes:

MotoGP 19 heading to Switch

MotoGP 19 is in development for Switch and other platforms, Milestone and Dorna Sports announced today. The game will initially launch on June 6 with the Switch version due out “a few weeks later”.
MotoGP 19 will let players participate in the 2019 Season as they race against champions or climb the ladder from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup to reach the top class as a young rider. After listening to feedback, Milestone is promising a smoother multiplayer experience and more single-player content.
