Yoshi’s Crafted World full North American site open, get My Nintendo Platinum Points

After it was previously in a teaser state, Nintendo has now opened the full North American website for Yoshi’s Crafted World. You can access it here.

Aside from checking out information and assets, there’s another reason to visit the site. Poochy Pups are hiding on the different pages, and by finding all three, you can earn My Nintendo Platinum Points. The more you find, the more points you’ll earn.

Nintendo Labo VR Kit intended for users aged 7 and over, safety overview

Nintendo announced the next Nintendo Labo product last week, and it’s a kit dedicated entirely to VR. The company updated its Japanese support website with some additional information about safety.

One of the big takeaways is the intended audience. Any user not aged 7 and over should not be using the Nintendo Labo VR Kit, Nintendo says. That guideline was determined “by researchers in the ophthalmology and vision fields studying the effects of 3D images on the development of children’s eyes.”

Original (3/12): Dark Horse has announced that it will publish The Art of Super Mario Odyssey in the west. After releasing in Japan last September, it’ll be available in North America on October 22.

The 368-page hardcover book contains “concept art, preliminary sketches, and notes from the development team, plus insight into some early ideas that didn’t make it into the game itself.” Screenshots and marketing materials will also be included.

The Art of Super Mario Odyssey will be priced at $49.99. We’ll pass along pre-order information when live.

SEGA has started production on the next major Sonic title

SEGA’s SXSW panel for Sonic the Hedgehog has officially wrapped up. There was quite a bit of news on Team Sonic Racing, but if you were anticipating brand new announcements, you might be a bit disappointed. That being said, Sonic Team’s Takashi Iizuka did leave fans with a small team.

According to Iizuka, work has started on the next major Sonic title. He added that SEGA will be excited to share more news in the future. Other than that, he thanked fans for their patience until the company has something to show.

SEGA reveals Bingo Party stage for Team Sonic Racing

Bingo Party will be included as one of the stages in Team Sonic Racing, SEGA and Sumo Digital announced at SXSW today. The area is inspired by one of the locations in Sonic Heroes.

Team Sonic Racing Overdrive animation announced

To promote Sonic Mania, SEGA produced a short animated series known as Sonic Mania Adventures. Team Sonic Racing will now be receiving the same treatment.

Announced at SXSW today, Team Sonic Racing Overdrive will be a 2-part animation. Tyson Hesse will be returning to work on the pair of shorts.
