Original (9/21): Amazon has opened pre-orders for the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Switch bundle. You can reserve a unit here. The system is due out on November 2, though you won’t be able to play Smash Bros. until December 7.

GameMill Entertainment has provided new details on Nickelodeon Kart Racers. Aside from playable characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and more, there will also be 24 different tracks in the game.

Also revealed today is that the iconic Nickelodeon green slime, which debuted in 1979, is key on the race track. Here’s what fans can expected on that front:

Original (9/19): Usually with a big release, we see Nintendo work with Prima on an official guide. That’ll be happening once again with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Amazon has revealed that the upcoming Switch game will be receiving a guide, including a collector’s edition version. The listing provides the following overview of the book:

Get ready to cast those lines, as Bass Pro Shops: The Strike – Championship Edition is officially set to hit retail for Nintendo Switch on October 23 — with the funky joycon fishing rod peripheral still as part of the package.

Two more key installments in the Hasbro series of board games — Risk and Trivial Pursuit Live! — are making their way to the Nintendo Switch on October 30, according to Ubisoft. 

With new and exclusive features added to both classic tabletop games, the titles will be available individually through the Switch eShop, or part of the just-announced Hasbro Game Night bundle that will also include the previously released Monopoly for Nintendo Switch. This package will release simultaneously with the digital copies of Risk and Trivial Pursuit Live!.

Rocket League’s next update has gone live on Switch. This is known as version 1.53, but will show as version 1.1.2 on your system.

My Nintendo has added in a couple of new rewards in North America, and both are themed around Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country.

First up are a pair of printable boxart covers that cost 30 Platinum Points. And for 50 Platinum Points, you can receive a new wallpaper.

A splash of rogue-lite elements mixed with 2D beat-em-up gameplay is set to land on Switch in 2019, as developer Dark Blue Games has confirmed that Infected Shelter is in development for the hybrid console.

Touted as a type of fusion between massively popular titles Dead Cells and Castle Crashers, this new co-op multiplayer will have users working to survive a post-apocalyptic setting filled to the brim with randomly generated enemies, loot, and opportunities for character improvement.
