Shadowgun Legends has been announced for Switch at Unite Berlin. A specific release date wasn’t announced aside from this summer, but during the event, Madfinger Games said the title was working on Nintendo’s console in just a couple of days.

Originally released on mobile, Shadowgun Legends is a shooter with a campaign as well as competitive and cooperative multiplayer. We have further information (from its mobile release) and a trailer below.

Daemon X Machina, a new Switch game unveiled during last week’s Nintendo Direct, might be one of the most visually striking titles we’ve seen on the system as of late. According to producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, the style was chosen to help make the title stand out.

Tsukuda told Polygon:

“Games these days have a lot of the same color palette, and I just personally wasn’t very happy with it. The colors that you see are chosen specifically for each of the orders and missions that you go on, based on how we want you to feel when you’re playing.”

Daemon X Machina isn’t just unique for its visuals. Tsukuda said that the metal soundtrack extends into the sound effects.

“Shooting a gun sounds like a drum and there’s a laser blade that actually uses the sound of a guitar. So when you’re playing with a group of Arsenals, I was hoping to create a game that kind of felt like you were like having a jam session.”

Hyper Sports R will only be appearing on Switch. Konami brand and media manager Benjamin Kinney indicated that the exclusivity comes down to Switch’s motion control features.

One of the items listed in Psyonix’s recent Summer Roadmap for Rocket League is the Rocket Pass. The studio shared official details on what fans can expect from the new system when it drops later this year.

Psyonix says Rocket Pass “is a brand new, time-limited progression system that will give you several ways to earn new content in Rocket League.” The developer wants to offer several of these passes every year, “with an emphasis on new, unique content for each Pass.”

As is practically tradition at this point, dataminers have gone to work on Pokemon GO’s latest update. There aren’t any massive findings – especially since new features like trading were just announced yesterday – but there are some interesting tidbits.
