13AM Games, the developer behind Runbow, is hard at work on its next project which is confirmed to be an entirely new IP. Fans will be happy to hear that it’s planned for Switch. 13AM Games boss Alex Rushdy shared the news in a Famitsu interview posted today.

While we wait on the new game, Runbow will be ported to Switch in early 2018. Rushdy told Famitsu that he’s glad he can satisfy those who have been asking for it to be released on the new console. Since 13AM Games is busy with its new title, Runbow’s Switch port is primarily being handled by Stage Clear Studios.

This is the Police isn’t too far away from reaching Switch. In a Reddit AMA conducted today, developer Maksim Burak said:

“We are aiming really hard to release the game in all major markets simultaneously. Right now we can’t give a specific date, but it should happen really soon as we are finishing up with some formalities.”

Much like in Europe a few weeks ago, My Nintendo has updated with a few Wii U and 3DS games as rewards. Four are currently available.

Zen Pinball 3D (3DS) – 50 Gold Points
Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo (3DS) – 60 Gold Points
Art of Balance (Wii U) – 70 Gold Points
Runner2 (Wii U) – 90 Gold Points

Digital Foundry has taken a closer look at the Super NES Classic Edition to find out what’s powering the hardware.

You may not be surprised to hear this, but Nintendo has repurposed the exact same technology from the NES Classic. Digital Foundry says it’s “almost a complete match for last year’s model.”

The fact that Nintendo is using last year’s technology isn’t entirely a bad thing. For one, the SNES Classic Edition didn’t really need any major boosts or changes. Digital Foundry also points out that it will be easier for the NES Classic Edition to be brought back next year.

Jackbox Games has determined a release date for The Jackbox Party Pack 4. The collection of zany party games is releasing October 19 on Switch.

Five – and a half – party games are included in The Jackbox Party Pack 4. They are as follows:

Superbeat: Xonic won’t be arriving on Switch next month as originally planned. Rising Star Games passed along the news on Twitter earlier today that the game has been pushed back.

The official tweet is as follows:


The new release date for Superbeat: Xonic is up in the air. However, retailers like Amazon have updated to November 14. We’ll have to see if that date sticks.

The Wii U Virtual Console keeps going strong thanks to Konami. Tomorrow, Double Dungeons will be hitting the eShop in North America.

Nintendo’s website contains the following overview:

Defeat monsters in each dungeon to gain experience while searching for the “key” that opens the door to the room with the boss. Buy equipment at the shop, team up with characters, and defeat the boss to clear a scenario. Conquer all 21 scenarios from levels 1 through 5 to obtain passwords. Obtain all of them to make your way to the final scenario! Two players can play at the same time, which makes this game truly stand out from the rest.
