Rumor: GameStop taking pre-orders for R.O.B, Duck Hunt, Game & Watch amiibo 3-pack on August 8
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Rumors | 2 Comments
The R.O.B., Duck Hunt, and Game & Watch amiibo could be seeing their first pre-orders as early as next week. Speculation has surfaced about an event GameStop will be hosting on August 8, and an exclusive three pack containing the three figures will supposedly be offered.
Here’s the lowdown:
– Special GameStop amiibo event
– Stores are being allocated extra hours in the early morning
– The 3-pack will be a GameStop exclusive (not the individuals)
– The 3-pack will be a Retro Pack featuring R.O.B., Duck Hunt, and Mr. Game & Watch
– Each store will have roughly 30 available for pre-order
– Pre-orders will be the traditional “head in store and put $5 down” style rather than Web In Store
– If a location allows more than their allocated pre-orders, the customer will not receive their pre-order
– As of now, the 3-pack is the only pre-order officially announced internally for the 8/8 event
– As a side effect, GameStop most likely not be receiving individuals of R.O.B., Duck Hunt, or Mr. Game & Watch
– Pro members may be allowed in to stores an hour early
All of this information is unconfirmed for the time being. If we hear anything official, we’ll be sure to bring the news to you.

Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 2 Comments
Update: OrangePixel shared a release month on its Twitter account: October.
Gunslugs 2 is making its way to the 3DS eShop, OrangePixel and Engine Software announced today.
Gunslugs 2 contains “over the top action, chaos, explosions”, though its “weirdness” means it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Players can expect a mix of “fast run and gun gameplay” and “elements of all our favorite movies and other pop-art from the 90s and 80s.”
Here’s the official story overview:
The Black Duck Army is back with new domination plans, this time they want to take the galaxy! Their signal towers are covering the planet, and alien technology seems to be used all over the place Luckily the Gunslugs are here to stop them.
Gunslugs 2 features seven worlds, eight levels per world, and an end level boss. All levels in the game are randomly generated. Additionally, the game comes packed with a story mode, arcade mode, and daily challenges. Stereoscopic 3D is supported as well.
A release date for Gunslugs 2 hasn’t been announced. A trailer for the title can be seen below.

Capcom’s latest update on Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX is all about player interaction. Siliconera translated the information, which we’ve rounded up below.
– Courier Felyne: known for his services and liking apples
– Speak to him when sending mail to other people’s villages
– You’ll have a pamphlet with your village information on it
– This gets traded with other players
– Once they take it via local connectivity, you’ll get to interact with them through StreetPass
– You can then see their names and the number of friends they have
– You’ll also receive the other player’s pamphlet
– Their pamphlet tells you information on how their village development has been coming along, and their friendship level with Felynes
– The Felynes registered through a pamphlet will occasionally come visit the nesting grounds, where you keep baby monsters
– They’ll also bring along their own monster babies
– Can get items by interacting with them
– You’ll sometimes receive collaboration costumes from special quests available through downloads
– Recent collaborations include Super Mario Bros. and Animal Crossing outfits, V-Jump collaboration based on the Jump comic’s pirate logo
