A few more updates hit the Japanese Xenoblade Chronicles X Twitter account today. Director Tetsuya Takahashi shared news about a pair of artists working on the game.
Siliconera provides the following translations:
“First up, Mr. Takayuki Yanase. He always manages to give shape to the exact image I communicate, so I have faith in him. For this game, too, he’s created some very cool Dolls (robots).”
“Then there’s Mr. Kouichi Mugitani. Xeno fans already know him, though. Naturally, I’ve asked for his help as a core member of the staff.”
For those wondering, Yanase has worked on Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Tenkai Knights, and Metal Gear Rising. On Rising, Yanase did mechanical designs.
Mugitani’s previous works include production designer on Xenosaga I, Xenosaga II, and Xenosaga III. He also provided character illustrations for Xenosaga III.

Gunman Clive 2 submitted to lot check in the US, will cost $3
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 1 Comment
Gunman Clive 2 creator Bertil Hörberg has confirmed that the game has been submitted to lot check in the United States. Whether or not it will launch this year is currently unclear.
Hörberg also shared a price point for Gunman Clive 2 over on Twitter. It will cost $3 – slightly more than the original’s $2, but still very much affordable.
Here’s the full roundup of Hörberg’s recent tweets:
Submitted the US version to lotcheck (still need to wait for the ratings for the EU version)
— Bertil Hörberg (@BertilHrberg) December 1, 2014
may have missed the deadline to get it out this year even if it does pass on the first try though
— Bertil Hörberg (@BertilHrberg) December 1, 2014
I should have the PEGI rating later this week and USK shortly after, but the Australian submission hasn't even been delivered there yet
— Bertil Hörberg (@BertilHrberg) December 1, 2014
It's ridiculous that they won't accept submission digitally, and even more ridiculous how long the post is taking
— Bertil Hörberg (@BertilHrberg) December 1, 2014
Gunman Clive 2 will be $3 in the US eShop.
— Bertil Hörberg (@BertilHrberg) December 1, 2014
I'm a bit conflicted about doing such low prices, but it worked out well for the first game and now that's the reference point

SimCity game was apparently in the works for Wii U, but was cancelled in October 2011
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 1 Comment
EA is rumored to have been working on a new SimCity console game in recent years that sadly ended up as a cancelled project.
Liam Robertson from Unseen64 – a site known for digging up game information including games that never made it to market – writes on Twitter that the title would have landed on Wii U in addition to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The plug was apparently pulled back in October 2011.
A prototype was created, though EA did not move forward with the new SimCity console project. It would have released alongside the 2013 PC game.
