GameSpot stores in Philadelphia are now fingerprinting customers who trade in games. The records are stored in a database to help law enforcement track down thieves who fence stolen goods.

There is a law in place that makes this possible, though GameStop isn’t actually forced to abide by the pawnbroker’s ordinance. Customers don’t seem too pleased with the retailer’s requirement, so it will be interesting to see how long this continues.

The latest issue of Famitsu contains an interview with producer Tomoya Asano, some of which has been translated by Siliconera. Asano spoke to the magazine about how the team is making Bravely Second with “sequel” as a focus, teased surprises, and more.

Classic Media now owns the rights to the Turok franchise and the company is open to the idea of Virtual Console releases. One fan has apparently been told that now is the time to speak up, so if this is something you’d like to see, send an email to [email protected].

It sounds like the Turok titles would head to the Wii U as opposed to Wii, which makes sense since Nintendo’s older console is out of the picture. Still, things could be tricky givem how the N64 VC hasn’t launched on Wii U just yet.

Collectorvision has not one, but three titles planned for retro systems as well as the Wii U eShop.

In addition to Justice Beaver for the Wii U eShop and SNES, Collectorvision is cooking up two additional projects. The first is Sydney Hunter & The Mayans Revenge for NES and Wii U eShop. Sydney Hunter & The Caverns of Death is also planned for the eShop along with the SNES.
