“Harvest Moon: The Lost Vall” listing appears, tentative release dates for other games
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Video Products Distributors has listed Harvest Moon: The Lost Vall for 3DS, which would most undoubtedly be Natsume’s localization for Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land. If the listing is accurate, we’ll be seeing the game in North America on October 7.
A few other items worth noting were found on Video Products Distributors as well – mainly release dates for previously-announced titles. Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is listed for release on August 26, while the new Adventure Time game, Cartoon Network game, and Cooking Mama 5 are listed with November 18, October 28, and October 14 release dates respectively. Note that these dates have not been confirmed and could be inaccurate.

The shot above is likely from a rough version of the game, but it’s still neat to look at. It shows what potentially may be Sonic Boom’s HUD, camera angle, etc.

– On the 3DS version: “Players will plot their next move on detailed strategic maps, and then engage in epic one-on-one 3D Battle sequences.”
– In the console version, the two worlds (Movieverse and WFCverse) are connected by an ancient relic known as The Dark Spark

– It’s capable of “Bending the fabric of the universe to (the wielder’s) will.”
– The Movieverse portion of the game will take place during and after Age of Extinction
– The WFC/FOC portion will take place before the launch of the Ark in Fall of Cybertron

– Hacks: modify the gameplay by adding in additional variables to Escalation such as higher enemy health, or every robot becoming a massive explosion upon death
Wii U support being considered for Source’s Kickstarter campaign
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 9 Comments
Fenix Fire is considering Wii U support for its Kickstarter campaign “Source”.
In a Kickstarter update, the studio wrote:
Possibly. We are licensed Wii U developers ad our game engine, Unity, does work on Wii U. The issue is that some of our effects are DirectX11 GPU optimized, meaning that they only work on this architecture. We’re currently evaluating the Wii U and if this is possible, and there is enough demand, will offer Wii U support as a stretch goal.
*Note – If you want to back this project and need it for Wii U, please send us a comment so that we can gauge interest in this platform.
Source is a new Metroidvania action-adventure game with exploration, puzzle-solving and combat. Check out the video above to get a taste as to what the title is about.
