Warner Bros. Interactive has pulled back the curtain on LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The game will be released this fall on Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and PC.

Here’s an official overview of the game:

In LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the Caped Crusader joins forces with the super heroes of the DC Comics Universe and blasts off to outer space to stop the evil Brainiac from destroying Earth. Using the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac shrinks worlds to add to his twisted collection of miniature cities from across the universe. Now the greatest super heroes and the most cunning villains must unite and journey to different Lantern Worlds to collect the Lantern Rings and stop Brainiac before it’s too late.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will include over 150 characters from the DC Comics universe, including members of the Justice League and LEGO big figures such as Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy, and more. “Fans of all ages will be able to control their favorite heroes and villains with new gadgets and abilities,” Warner Bros. said in its announcement. “Brainiac’s mind controlling abilities and the power of the Lantern rings bring unexpected twists to the classic characters’ personalities.”

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham also allows players to visit iconic locations including the Hall of Justice, the Batcave and the Justice League Watchtower. Additionally, it’ll be possible to access Batman’s training modules on the Bat Computer and take part in various challenges, battles and races.

Generally speaking, we shy away from posting classification listings unless they are of some significance. While the OFLC’s rating for Bayonetta 2 doesn’t bring anything new to the table, it does seem to be a sign that the game will be arriving sooner rather than later. We also learn that the game has earned a MA15+ rating – the same classification as its predecessor.

Each entry in the Mario Kart series has adapted a fairly safe approach with the character roster. That does make a fair bit amount of sense when you think about it, as this is “Mario Kart” we’re talking about!

Still, some fans have been interested in seeing Nintendo shake the roster up by including characters outside of the Mario universe. Mario Kart 8 director Kosuke Yabuki recently commented on the possibility in an interview with Nintendo Life, telling the website:

We’re always considering ways to make the Mario Kart games more appealing, but I don’t think that just increasing the number of characters would make the game better. Of course, I’m not ruling out the possibility of such an approach in the future though.
