This week’s Famitsu reportedly has a first look at a few new 3DS titles. A-Train 3D, VitaminX Evolution Plus, and VitaminZ Revolution are all apparently featured.

Famitsu leaks typically don’t surface this early, so we’re a bit hesitant to call this official. Still, the fact that supposed shots of the magazine’s cover and index do make this seem very plausible. We should know in a few hours either way.

Zelda: Wind Waker HD and Pokemon X/Y bundles may be on the way for their respective consoles. Target has listed a trio of products in their inventory tracking system, hinting at upcoming announcements.

Let’s talk about Zelda: Wind Waker HD first. This will be a Deluxe Set model and comes with a copy of the game. Pricing will be set at $349.99.

Nintendo also appears to be preparing two separate Pokemon X/Y 3DS XL bundles. Consumers will be able to choose from red and blue color variations. Each will be priced at $199.99.

Naturally, Nintendo isn’t saying much about these rumors. The company would only tell Destructoid: “Nintendo does not comment on rumors and speculation.”

Nintendo may be to blame for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ late Wii U announcement.

Ghosts was officially confirmed in May. It wasn’t until July that Activision made the shooter official for Wii U.

According to Emily Rogers, who is often spot on with Nintendo rumors, Activision was waiting for some sort of approval for Nintendo – resulting in the delay.

Rogers also says that when it comes to last year’s Black Ops II announcement – another late Call of Duty confirmation for Wii U – the news was withheld until Nintendo’s September conference in order to create buzz.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Disney cancelled an unannounced Iron Man game earlier this year. The axed game was allegedly due out in 2013. The Wall Street Journal doesn’t provide any details about the project, so unless a leak occurs, we likely won’t know anything about the mystery Iron Man title.

Nine Realms, Inc. is a company that most probably haven’t heard of. The business was established by Human Head president and owner Paul MacArthur in November 2011.

Believe it or not, this unknown company does appear to have a relationship with Nintendo – or did at one point.

One of the studio’s supposed staffers says on his CV that he worked on design and development for an upcoming Nintendo IP. And in 2012, Human Head/Nine Realms was hiring part-time Japanese staffers for translations of “project documentation, written correspondence, and live [conversation],” which sounds like could have something to do with that mysterious game.

Curious stuff. Curious indeed. Could this title still be in development?

After poking around the Pikmin 3 website, a sixth secret memo for the game appears to have been discovered. We won’t spoil the whole thing for you, though there’s not much to spoil. We will say that it features a different hero – not Olimar.

You can find the short video after the break.

Rumor has it that Wii U and 3DS will soon be receiving a shared eShop balance. It’ll work like this: if you add funds on the Wii U eShop, the total will be carried over to the 3DS store – and vise versa.

Don’t expect to hear anything about this today, though. The rumor, which comes from Emily Rogers, isn’t expected to be covered during the Nintendo Direct presentation in just a couple of hours.

Nintendo hasn’t announced any pre-order bonuses for Pokemon X/Y, but GameStop may be giving out its own special item. There is at least one report of the retailer handing out a poster, measuring in at over two feet wide.

So now the question is: are all (or many, at least) GameStop locations handing out the bonus? Or was this just a special occurrence?

Despite requests from fans, Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC never came to Wii U. Activision, however, could be changing its ways for the next Call of Duty release on Nintendo’s console, based on a new retailer listing.

GameStop indicates that all of Ghosts’ pre-order DLC being made available on other consoles is also planned for Wii U. You’ll apparently receive the Free Fall Dynamic map as well as a themed personalization pack for use in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

There are two probable scenarios here: either the Wii U will in fact be receiving these pre-order bonuses, or GameStop has made some kind of mistake. I’m personally a bit skeptical due to the inclusion of the personalization pack, but we’ll try to nail down a concrete answer.

Thanks to Malvingt2 for the tip.

Nintendo has been working on a 3DS version of Miiverse for a significant amount of time. According to a tweet from Emily Rogers, the functionality will be ready to go in just a few months. Miiverse will apparently come to the 3DS this fall through a firmware update, and will also include the introduction of Nintendo Network IDs on the system.
