Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions won’t feature stereoscopic 3D. On the North American boxart shown earlier this week, you may have missed the bit of text at the bottom stating that it plays only in 2D.

This will be the first title in the Mario & Luigi series without 3D support. The feature was included in both Dream Team and Paper Jam.

Nintendo published the next episode in its “Greetings from the Oasis” video series for Ever Oasis. Watch episode 2 below.

GameStop opened pre-orders for the Metroid: Samus Returns Special Edition earlier this week. Now Best Buy has done the same as well. If you’d like to reserve a copy, head on over here.

Wondering what’s coming to Switch and 3DS for the rest of 2017? As a way of highlighting some of the upcoming releases, Nintendo created the new infographic above and distributed it on Twitter. After working on the project for several years, DoctorM64 published his fan project Another Metroid 2 Remake (AM2R) online last year. But soon after it was released, he was given a DMCA from Nintendo.

What’s makes the whole story interesting is that Nintendo unveiled Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS at E3 this week. It just so happens that the company was working on its own remake of the Game Boy title.

One of the more prominent developers involved with Metroid was actually aware of AM2R. Although he hasn’t seen it personally, game producer Yoshio Sakamoto told Kotaku:

“We heard about it first after we had already started development. We know it exists, the fact that a fan is out there and really likes the series this much.”

The Pokemon Sun/Moon website has updated with full details on Marshadow. That’s posted below, along with an English equivalent of yesterday’s video clip.

CATEGORY: Gloomdweller Pokémon
TYPE: Fighting/Ghost
HEIGHT: 2’04”
WEIGHT: 48.9 lbs.
ABILITY: Technician

Known as the Gloomdweller Pokémon, the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow conceals itself in the shadows. It never appears before humans, so its very existence is the stuff of myth. Marshadow sinks into the shadows of others, and is able to copy their movements and power.

Marshadow is a very cautious Pokémon. It sinks into shadows and observes what is going on around it in such a way that no one else will notice it. This may be the reason why is so rarely seen.

Last year, FuRyu released Beyblade Burst on 3DS in Japan. The company is now gearing up for another release, Beyblade Burst God.

Specifics about Beyblade Burst God haven’t been shared, but it looks to be a souped-up version of what shipped in 2016. We do know that it’s due out on November 23 for 6,458 yen.
