Update (3/5): Even more maintenance has been scheduled for 3DS tomorrow on top of what’s already posted below. The schedule is as follows:
– 5 PM PT – 6 PM PT
– 8 PM ET – 9 PM ET
– 1 AM in the UK – 2 AM in the UK
– 2 AM in Europe – 3 AM in Europe
From Monday, March 6, 2017 5 :00 PM – Monday, March 6, 2017 6 :00 PM Pacific Time
Original (3/3): On Monday / Tuesday, Nintendo will be conducting its latest platform maintenance. Certain network services such as online play, rankings, etc. may be impacted on Switch, Wii U, and 3DS while this is taking place.
The maintenance schedule is as follows:
– 8 PM PT (March 6) – 2 AM PT (March 7)
– 11 PM ET (March 6) – 5 AM ET (March 7)
– 4 AM in the UK (March 7) – 10 AM in the UK (March 7)
– 5 AM in Europe (March 7) – 11 AM in Europe (March 7)

In case you’re wondering, the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo are compatible with Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo. Link (Archer) summons Wolf Link, Link (Rider) summons Epona, Guardian and Bokoblin both summon Ganon, and Zelda summons Medli.
You were originally able to unlock these Zelda characters in New Leaf with the 30th anniversary amiibo. To recap, 8-bit Link is tied to Ganon, Ocarina of Time Link is for Epona, and Toon Link / Zelda both unlock Medli.

Bye-Bye BoxBoy! localization confirmed, listed for March 23 by Nintendo UK

Goodbye! BoxBoy! is getting localized, and perhaps sooner than expected. Nintendo UK’s website is currently listing the game for a March 23 release.
As Bye-Bye BoxBoy! has not yet been officially announced for the west and the page leads to a 404 error, this is likely an unintentional leak from Nintendo. However, if it really is coming out in a few weeks though, we should be hearing about it very soon.

New characters Veronica and Senya introduced for Dragon Quest XI

The newest issue of Jump is starting to make the rounds in Japan. Inside the magazine, Square Enix shows a bit more of Dragon Quest XI with the introduction of two characters.
Jump has overviews of both Veronica and Senya. Their bios are below, courtesy of Gematsu.
Veronica – A Prodigy that Knows No Fear
“Don’t treat me like a child!”
From the look of her, she is a strong-willed girl. In the opening movie, there are scenes of her unleashing attack spells.
Senya – A Beautiful Harp Girl with a Relaxing Presence
“I will help everyone with a recovery spell.”
A girl with a neat and clean atmosphere. In the opening movie, there is a scene where she is playing the harp.
