SEGA has gone live with the first English 7th Dragon III Code: VFD trailer. In the new video, posted below, the publisher showcases the role dragons play in the game. Hint: they’re bad news!

Update: Uchikoshi has now clarified that it won’t be at GDC itself. It’ll just be taking place during GDC.

It won’t be much longer until we receive a proper update about Zero Time Dilemma. On Twitter, Kotaro Uchikoshi announced that he’ll be attending the Game Developers Conference for an “unveiling presentation”.

Uchikoshi’s tweet is as follows:

GDC 2016 runs between March 14 and March 18.

Brain Age: Concentration Training came out in Japan almost four years ago. In North America, the title arrived in 2013. But in Europe – where it was to be known as Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training – it has still yet to launch.

Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training has been continuously listed for Europe in Nintendo’s release schedules. However, there’s been no official word on when it will be distributed across PAL regions. Given that, perhaps this latest news shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

Tesco Direct has started cancelling pre-orders for Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training. Why, you ask? The retailer states in emails sent to consumers that this is due to “the supplier no longer publishing the game”.

Here’s the full email:

Devilish

Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training was last planned for April 2013 in Europe. Nintendo ended up delaying it to “optimise the best possible launch timing of this title within the European market.”

Bravely Second’s European release date of February 26th is fast approaching and fans already got a taste of the game with the release of the demo last week. Today, Nintendo opened up the game’s official website.

While the website doesn’t really offer any new information, it’s a nice and fairly comprehensive overview of the game’s content and features, its world, characters and so on. Still, I’d recommend you check out at least two specific parts of it: the advanced techniques section which features two brief gameplay clips showcasing the Brave & Default and Bravely Second features, and the Jobs section which lists nearly all of the jobs found in the game, including almost all of the new ones (save for, incidentally, the controversial “Hawkeye” job).

Nintendo has issued a new statement regarding the petting mini-game in Fire Emblem Fates. Here it is in full:

“In certain circumstances, S-Level characters are able to wake up their spouses by blowing into the microphone or by tapping the screen to touch their hair, face or shoulder. These randomly triggered events are unrelated to the mini-game in the Japanese version.”

This statement essentially confirms what we heard from GameSpot last week. Fire Emblem Fates’ petting mini-game is indeed cut in the western version. However, it’s possible to wake up spouses by tapping the screen or blowing into the 3DS’ microphone – that’s it. There’s nothing extra beyond this in the overseas release.

System: 3DS
Release date: February 16, 2016
Developer: Monolith Soft
Publisher Bandai Namco

The original Project X Zone that released back in 2013 was a pleasant surprise to fans of Capcom, SEGA, and Bandai Namco alike. It brought characters from each respective publisher into a strategy RPG format where they band together and go across space and time to defeat villains across multiple series, as well as original characters, to save the world from collapsing into itself through the constant overlapping dimensions colliding. Project X Zone 2 doesn’t veer to far from the original, featuring a lot of the same characters, maps, stories, and more. It almost makes this feel like more of an expansion than a true sequel, but that’s not such a bad thing. The fan service of bringing all these iconic characters into one game is what keeps an experience like this special, and the humor on top is a bonus throughout.

Rather than focusing on gameplay, the latest Fire Emblem Fates video shows off a cut-scene from the Conquest version. Check it out below – just be wary of spoilers!
