Hishou Same! Same! Same! JP release date

M2 has set a release date for Hishou Same! Same! Same!, its collection of shoot ’em up games for Switch. Japan will be getting the release on April 28, 2022.

The physical version of Hishou Same! Same! Same! comes with a code for Sennou Game Teki Paki and players will have access to DLC featuring the console ports of each title, plus Wardner. There’ll also be a Digital Edition containing the arcade versions of Hishou Zame! and Same! Same! Same!, plus Sennou Game Teki Paki.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode physical

Bandai Namco will offer a physical “Begins Edition” for .hack//G.U. Last Recode on Switch in North America, the company has announced.

It took a bit of time, but the title was officially announced for North America today. The game previously had a confirmed release date of March 10 in Japan and Asia, with Europe following on March 11.

knights in the nightmare remaster delayed

Knights in the Nightmare Remaster has been delayed and will not be launching this year as originally planned, Sting has announced.

The title had originally been confirmed for a 2021 launch back in June. But with only a few days remaining in the year, today’s news regarding a delay doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

Sonic Chronicles intro cinematic

More than a decade after the game’s original release, a cut animated intro cinematic has been revealed for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.

The game was made for the DS by BioWare, the studio behind Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and titles like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The company hasn’t done much with Nintendo platforms, but worked with SEGA to make Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood on DS exclusively.

neo world ends with you sequel new game

NEO: The World Ends with You producer Tomohiko Hirano has commented on the future of the series, and has indicated that there currently are no plans for a new game.

Hirano shared that information as part of an interview with PCInvasion. While he shot down any hopes of an immediate sequel, he did point out that there are still areas of Shibuya that have yet to be recreated, and perhaps a new title could be made with enough fan support.

bravely default ii sales

Square Enix has announced a new sales milestone for Bravely Default II. On Twitter, the company confirmed that combined shipments and digital sales of the RPG have surpassed one million copies.

To celebrate the news, Square Enix issued a piece of special artwork. We’ve included it above.

Melty Blood Type Lumina Dead Apostle Noel

Dead Apostle Noel is joining Melty Blood: Type Lumina as a DLC character, Project Lumina revealed today. A release date has not been announced.

DLC was confirmed for Melty Blood: Type Lumina in October. New content will begin to go live starting this winter, going up all the way through spring. Other than new playable characters, DLC will include character stories and stages. Dead Apostle Noel is the first piece of DLC that’s been announced thus far.

pokemon brilliant diamond shining pearl update 1.1.3

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl have both just been updated, with the two recent Switch games now at version 1.1.3.

The actual patch notes are a bit on the light side. According to Nintendo itself, the only piece of information included about the update states: “Fixed some issues for more pleasant gameplay.” Early player reports indicate that some glitches have been addressed. Keep in mind that no new functionality, features, or any other additions are included.
