My Singing Monsters Playground

Big Blue Bubble today announced My Singing Monsters Playground, a new party game set in the My Singing Monsters universe. A release is planned for November.

The last SteamWorld game, SteamWorld Quest, launched just over two years ago. Image & Form has been keeping quiet about the series since, but that doesn’t mean there’s more to come – quite far from it actually.

Over on Twitter, Image & Form confirmed that “several new SteamWorld games are in the making”. The company wrote:

PQube and Nippon Cultural Broadcasting have dated Bustafellows for the west. The otome title is coming to Switch in North America and Europe on July 30, the two sides revealed today.

Focus Home Interactive and Gasket Games have prepared a new set of trailers for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground. The upcoming strategy game today received a trio of videos highlighting its three factions.

Hamster has announced its latest Arcade Archives game for Switch. Guzzler will launch for Switch worldwide on May 13, the company confirmed today.

In the game, you play as Guzzler, who needs to take in water from puddles and extinguish fires/monsters. Tehkan originally created the title.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Guzzler is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin

Total worldwide physical and digital sales for Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin have surpassed 950,000 units as of March 31, publisher Marvelous and developer Edelweiss have stated. The last milestone reached was 850,000 total unit sales on January 29th. The game originally launched on Switch and other platforms back in November of last year. Nippon Ichi Software is releasing a demo for Tantei Bokumetsu this week. The demo will be available on the Japanese eShop and allows players to experience the entire first chapter of the game before it launches later this month, with save data carrying over should the player wish. This detective adventure game arrives on May 27 in Japan, with no word yet on a Western release.
