Animal Crossing: New Horizons

A whole bunch of critters just left Animal Crossing: New Horizons to close out September. But now that we’re in October, a new wave of bugs, fish, and underwater creatures can be found in the game.

Petal Crash

The arcade-action puzzle game Petal Crash was announced for Switch earlier this year. It was originally scheduled for August, but the month went by without any sort of update. A listing has now surfaced on the eShop with what appears to be a final date of October 12. The news should be officially announced soon.

Skatemasta Tcheco

Eastasiasoft, Ratalakia Games, and Marcelo Barbosa have revealed that the retro-style skateboard platformer Skatemasta Tcheco is launching on Switch next week. It’s due out on October 8.

Dragalia Lost will host the Prize Showcase on October 5, Nintendo and Cygames have announced.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was updated to 1.5.0 with major functionality. Players now have access to fall and Halloween features.

There was one unintended side effect of the update, though. Version 1.5.0 introduced a new bug with Nook Miles that Nintendo intends to fix with an upcoming patch.

The company said the following on its Japanese Twitter account, as translated by Oni Dino of Nintendo Everything:

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered

New information about the long-rumored Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered has apparently made it out from a Japanese retailer. The big news is that, supposedly, the game will launch for Switch on November 6 – at least in Japan.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator

A number of Five Nights at Freddy’s games are already on Switch, and another one will soon be joining the lineup. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator is seeing release on the eShop, though it’s not entirely clear when.
