It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate holds on to the third spot while Octopath Traveler ends its run at #4.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between July 5 and July 11.

Phrasefight

Mediascape announced today that the rhythm fighting game Phrasefight is coming to Switch. VeryOK is developing the title, which first appeared on PC and Mac earlier this year.

Phrasefight will support all of Switch play modes, including TV, handheld, and tabletop. It will also make use of HD Rumble and will allow for single Joy-Con play.

Phrasefight will be playable at Zentame 2018 between August 5 and August 5. We have a couple of videos below.

Octopath Traveler

As we know, Octopath Traveler is supply-constrained in Japan after selling out. Square Enix issued an apology last weekend, and advised Switch owners to consider the game’s digital version on the eShop for the time being.

Given Octopath Traveler’s scarcity, it’s unsurprising to see that almost all of the first round of copies have been sold. Dengeki reports that the title sold through 90% of its initial shipment.

During a three-day period, Octopath Traveler sold 110,000 units. With digital copies, perhaps that number could be closer to 150,000.

2064: Read Only Memories Integral

2064: Read Only Memories Integral’s journey to Switch hasn’t exactly been smooth. Following a delay from April 5, we haven’t heard much from the developer.

We last thought that we’d finally be seeing 2064: Read Only Memories Integral next week. The game had finally received an eShop listing with a July 26 release date, and that date was also shown in a new trailer.

Take-Two has put out a few different Switch games through its subsidiaries. Back in November, Rockstar’s L.A. Noire hit the console. 2K Sports has also issued NBA 2K18 (2K19 is due out in September) and WWE 2K18.

It’s unclear just how much these titles have sold on Switch. However, Take-Two CEO Straus Zelnick has offered up an encouraging statement.

Located in Tokyo’s nerd Mecca, Akihabara, the Square Enix Café features a rotating menu and a variety of changing themes. This time around, from June 30 to August 10, the Switch exclusive Octopath Traveler is heavily featured with all sorts of limited edition merchandise, food and drinks inspired by the game, decorations and art. I visited the café in order to get first-hand impressions to share with our readers.

Fire Emblem Heroes has kicked off its latest Bound Hero Battle. Leo: Sorcerers Prince and Elise: Budding Flower from Fire Emblem Fates are in Special Maps. By beating Hard through Infernal modes, you can earn more Orbs.

Also remember that Fire Emblem Heroes received its latest update to Blessed Gardens yesterday. Fountain of Fire has been added as the new map.

WarioWare Gold

WarioWare Gold is launching in North America on August 3. Ahead of its release, Nintendo has made the pre-load option available on the 3DS eShop.

WarioWare Gold takes up 9,836 blocks of space. That amounts to 1.2GB.

Don’t forget: a demo for WarioWare Gold is available on the 3DS eShop right now.
