Nintendo has sent out a few more details about what to expect from Super Mario Run version 2.0.0.

Once the new update is applied, players will see “A Challenge from Bowser”. Completing it will allow you to take on World 1-4 without having to pay. Then by finishing that level, new courses will be added in Toad Rally, plus Blue and Green Toads will also come to cheer in the free version. More items will be added to Kingdom Builder such as the Blue Yoshi home to unlock Blue Yoshi.

Super Mario Run version 2.0.0 launches on March 23 alongside the Android release.

Arc System Works brought Othello and New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers to the Switch eShop for the console’s launch in Europe in Japan. In North America, the games are planned for release this week.

Listings on the eShop show that Othello and New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers are both scheduled for Thursday. They’ll cost $4.99 and $9.99 respectively.

Atlus will be hosting a “New Title Announcement Special Spring 2017” live stream on March 26. It will b on both Niconico and Fresh.

In addition to Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, we’ll be getting a look at other new titles Atlus is preparing this year. The first trailer and latest information will be shared along with the cast of the new title and familiar Atlus radio guests. Announcer Chiaki Matsuzawa, voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi, Megumi Han, Tomomi Isomura, Yoshihisa Kawahara, Ayumu Murase, and Tomokazu Sugita, freelance writer Mafia Kajita, and composer Yoko Shimomura will be in attendance.

The New Title Announcement Special Spring 2017 live stream will be held at the following times:

– 3 AM PT
– 6 AM ET
– 11 AM in the UK
– 12 PM in Europe

Poisoft is preparing a substantial patch for Vroom in the Night Sky. Along with new content, improvements are planned as well.

Vroom in the Night Sky’s new patch is version 1.1.0. If all goes well, it should be out on April 5.

Some online services for all of Nintendo’s systems will undergo maintenance later today / tomorrow and might not be available during that period. Below are the exact times:

  • 1 AM in the UK (March 22) – 3 AM in the UK (March 22)

Square Enix has been releasing quite a bit of info on Dragon Quest XI lately, but one thing that’s still unknown is the game’s release date. However, that is soon going to change – on April 11th, Square Enix will announce the game’s release date at a special event. This event will be livestreamed – while there will be a Nico Nico stream, for Western audiences the best option will likely be Youtube Live. Luckily, the stream page is already up and running – check back here in 20 days!

As far as Nintendo systems is concerned, we will only hear about the release date of the 3DS version at this event. The Switch version, which will likely be released at a later date, is not mentioned by Square Enix with regards to this event.

The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire is just around the corner, and Nintendo has released brief preview videos of the four weapons that will be available to players: the Splattershot, Splat Charger, Splat Roller and the all-new Splat Dualies. The Splat Dualies preview video is below; head past the break for the other three.

A few hours ago, Atlus put up a teaser website for a new Radiant Historia title, urging people to check the new issue of Famitsu for more information. Thanks to preview images of this week’s Famitsu, we now know that the game the website teases is called Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology for the Nintendo 3DS. It’s a remake of the original DS game with new scenarios. It will be released in Japan on June 29th this year.

Square-Enix has announced the Seiken Densetsu Collection for the Nintendo Switch. The collection will include Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden (also known as Final Fantasy Adventure or Mystic Quest), Seiken Densetsu 2 (also known as Secret of Mana), and Seiken Densetsu 3. It will launch June 1 in Japan, both physically and digitally, for 4,800 yen (about $42). The latter two games will support multiplayer for up to three players. A trailer is below:

Pokémon Shuffle’s weekly update has arrived, with the highlight being a safari that features some unique Pikachu. The safari will let you catch two Pikachu, Kimono Boy and Kimono Girl, along with Krabby, Kingler, Goldeen, Seaking, Plusle, and Minun. There is also a new stage for Hydreigon, as well as repeat runs for Reshiram and Black Kyruem. The Hydreigon stage will run until March 28, while the other stages will run until April 4.
