Poker Club

Ripstone Games today announced Poker Club, a new IP heading to Switch and other platforms. It will launch later in 2020.

Poker Club is designed as a social experience, and will offer tournaments for over 200 players. Cross-play will also be supported between all platforms.

Here’s some additional information and a trailer:

Nintendo has very slowly added additional features and functionality to the Switch eShop since its launch back in March 2017. That continued today – specifically as it relates to games on sale.

If you head on over to the sale page section, you’ll now be told how many days left the discount will be live for. The same message can actually be seen within other areas of the eShop as well, including search pages. Users will be shown this information for already-released titles in addition to pre-order discounts.

In other news, Nintendo is now allowing pre-orders to be cancelled on the eShop.

Early Morning Studio has updated the release date for their upcoming turn-based open-world RPG, Vampire’s Fall: Origins. Previously stated to be coming this Fall, the new release date is now September 17. In case you missed it, check out an overview and the announcement trailer below.

Nintendo eShop

In the latest Switch eShop update, Nintendo has enabled cancelling pre-ordering. The new feature will enable a deadline on payment for pre-ordered software, and allow a cancellation option to be used up until that point. After the stated date, refunds will not be available outside of where it is legally required. All software currently utilizing this feature has this date set as one week before release, but it is unknown if this is the only option.

Eligible pre-orders can be cancelled on the Switch eShop by going to Account Information > Your Pre-orders > Cancel Pre-order.

Vaporum: Lockdown

Vaporum: Lockdown, a prequel to Vaporum, was revealed for Switch last year. Originally, the game was targeting an early 2020 release. It’s been some time since we’ve heard about the project, but developer Fatbot Games confirmed a new release window of Q4 2020 for the Switch version today.

2K Games Switch

A new 2K Publisher Sale has kicked off on the Switch eShop. BioShock, Borderlands, and XCOM 2 Collection are among the included discounts.
