Flood of Light

Chinese indie studio Irisloft and indie publisher indienova have announced that Flood of Light is coming to Switch.

Floor of Light is a puzzle game in which you control a mysterious girl who arrives at a city that is completely flooded with water. This girl is the only person with the ability to control light, which will be your tool to solve various puzzles, gradually make the water go back and ultimately save the city. As you do so, the true purpose of this girl will be revealed.

Little Inferno has managed to sell over 1 million copies, Tomorrow Corporation announced this week. 12.6% of those sales were on Nintendo platforms – Switch and Wii U specifically.

Jackbox Games has announced the second game for The Jackbox Party Pack 5: Split the Room. The developer describes it as “a multi-dimensional party game where you create weird/supernatural scenarios with the goal of splitting the room’s response.”

Hamster announced two more classic games for Switch during a live stream on Niconico today. Argus and Omega Fighter will both be released this summer under the Arcade Archives label.

Argus is a shooter from Jaleco originally brought to arcades in 1986. Omega Fighter is a vertical shooter from UPL, originally made in 1989.

Following Nintendo’s E3 Direct, Fortnite made its debut on Switch this week. Digital Foundry today takes a closer look at the game with a technical analysis and Xbox One comparison.

When docked, Fortnite’s maximum resolution is 900p. Depending on what’s happening on screen, the resolution can drop lower than that.

Disease: Hidden Object

D3 Publisher opened a teaser site this week for a new Switch game. Today, it was announced as Disease: Hidden Object – an horror adventure title in which you move between two worlds in search of items and scattered documents.

Yesterday, Yomi was added as the latest DLC character in Senran Kagura Reflexions. As it turns out, that was the final addition. Director Kenichiro Takaki confirmed that no additional characters are planned, with the team fully focusing on Senran Kagura: Peach Ball.

Asuka is the primary character included in Senran Kagura Reflexions. Aside from Yomi, other DLC characters include Yumi, Murasaki, and Ryona.
