2D Mario future Wonder

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a big milestone for a number of reasons. For one thing, it’s the first side-scrolling entry in the series in over a decade. And after four New Super Mario Bros. titles, Nintendo is finally going in a new direction.

Game Informer recently asked Super Mario Bros. Wonder producer Takashi Tezuka about the future, though he was noncommittal on the game leading to more releases like it in the future similar to what we saw from New Super Mario Bros. At the same time, he mentioned how it’s “a new phase”.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Gerald

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is offering up a closer look at Gerald and his moveset with a new spotlight trailer.

Coming from Hey Arnold, Gerald is a brand new character for this time. He’s said to be a tricky mid-range zoner who excels at locking opponents down with a wide range of projectile options before hitting opponents with flashy combos. Gerald has some weaknesses with speed, but has a strong lineup of special moves. One of his most unique mechanics is that players can pull up a menu and select items for different situations. You can hit opponents with a basketball or frisbee, and he can also reflect projectiles with a ping pong paddle. Gerald can also throw a limited amount of watches that are long range, fast, very strong. Other moves involve a baseball and a skateboard.
