The title was previously teased back in October 2021 as an untitled game based on the manga series, but now new details have emerged, giving us an overview of the title as well as a short gameplay trailer.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R update 2.2.0

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is getting ready for its latest update with version 2.2.0. This should go live on October 15 or October 16 (depending on your region).

The update is highlighted by support for the latest DLC character, Yuya Fungami. However, it’ll also include a ton of balance adjustments.

Here’s the full rundown:

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Sheikah Towers Guardians tech

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom builds on the mechanics and world of Breath of the Wild, but there are some elements that are absent such as the Sheikah Towers and Guardians. In their place are things like the Skyview Towers and new types of enemies we didn’t see in the previous title. But what happened to the Sheikah tech in Breath of the Wild anyway?

Hidemaro Fujibayashi, who was the director on Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild, offered up an explanation in an interview with The Telegraph. He explained that the Sheikah technology simply disappeared – which the people of Hyrule apparently saw. However, Fujibayashi said “it is considered a mystery.”

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Angry Beavers moveset

Yet another Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 spotlight trailer has arrived, this time for the recently-confirmed Angry Beavers – and we’ve got a proper look at the moveset.

The Angry Beavers are a brand new addition to this entry. Both can switch out at any time – Daggett is about speed and combos while Norbert’s positives are with his superior range and strength. When their side specials or neutrals are used, the other beaver is called in for assistance. However, if one of the beavers gets hit after they’ve been called in for an assist, they’ll take some damage and can’t tag out for a few seconds. Both of their movesets are unique.

Flashback 2 story

Microids and Paul Cuisset are offering a new look at Flashback 2 thanks to a story trailer that’s just been released.

The premise is that in the heart of a dystopian future, hero Conrad B. Hart must confront the fearsome Morphs who aim to enslave all life in the solar system. Players will have to deploy all their skills in the platform shooter, which offers striking fluidity and precision.

Sonic Superstars

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Sonic Superstars and Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island appear for the first time.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between September 20 and September 26.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong review

System: Switch
Release date: September 28, 2023 (Europe) / December 5 (North America)
Developer: Big Bad Wolf
Publisher: Nacon

Vampire the Masquerade is a series that has been around for a surprisingly long time, lurking in the shadows of tabletop roleplaying games since the early 90s as part of the larger World of Darkness series. It has been adapted into video game format a few times over the years, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is the third of these games to come to Nintendo’s console. Unfortunately, it has not been worth the extremely long wait, and is something I wouldn’t recommend to even the most avid fans of the series.
