Rumors surfaced earlier this year that Nintendo supposedly has major plans surrounding Mario’s 35th anniversary. The biggest thing we had heard about concerned re-releases of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy. A port of Super Mario 3D World is also said to be in the works.

VGC has now been tipped off by a reader of a @SuperMario35th account on Twitter, which was registered earlier in the year. It has a recovery email that could use Nintendo’s Japanese domain address, but we don’t have official confirmation at this time.

More:

Following Scorbunny, Sobble is now available for players to befriend and recruit in Pokemon Cafe Mix. Players will have two weeks to add the Pokemon to their team. As long as you encounter it at least once during play, you should be able to invite it to work at the Cafe. Be sure to befriend it before the event ends on July 29th.

Nintendo is done with major updates for Super Mario Maker 2, but the game did receive a small patch today. The game is now at version 3.0.1.

The main change concerns Ninji Time Attack. Those that pause while playing the mode won’t be able to move for a period of time after closing the pause menu. Other issues have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.

Nintendo ended its primary support for Super Mario Maker 2 in April. Version 3.0.0 featured World Maker, new course parts, and more. If you missed out on that, you can find those patch notes here.
