Long after it was announced, Nintendo released Mario Kart Tour on iOS and Android this week. The mobile game was originally revealed back in January 2018, and was at first expected by March of this year.

Now that Mario Kart Tour has been out for a few days, we imagine that at least some of you have given it a shot. What are your impressions thus far? The narrative-adventure game Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is coming to Switch, an eShop listing reveals. Serenity Forge will publish Dim Bulb Games’ title on November 22.

Earlier this week, Famitsu reported that the Switch Lite sold 177,936 units in its first week. That was a great debut for Nintendo, as the 3DS XL was the only other system revision with a better start.

Contra: Rogue Corps, the latest entry in the series, finally launched on Switch this week. At the Tokyo Game Show, we had an opportunity to speak with director Nobuya Nakazato to discuss the title in greater detail and chat about a few other topics.

During our interview, Nakazato spoke about Rogue Corps’ origins and more. We also asked about that Contra game Konami teased during its E3 2011 event, what it’s been like working on the IP for over two decades, and more.

Strictly Limited Games is giving the side-scroller Door Kickers: Action Squad a physical version on Switch, the company has announced. It will follow an initial digital release, which is set for October.

Strictly Limited Games will offer a standard release and a collector’s edition. They will be limited to 2,500 copies and 1,500 copies respectively. The collector’s edition includes a hardcover box with magnetic closure, a hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, Door Kickers stick and an Action Squad poster.

Pre-order will go live on September 29 through Strictly Limited Games’ website. Pricing is set at €24.99 for the standard release and €44.99 for the collector’s edition.
